Beyond the Frames immerses you in the world of Francoise Dedon, a lifelong resident of the French Riviera and Hyeres. I, Zafar Mehdi, captured her remarkable two-day journey as an artist, exploring her unique fusion of primitive and futuristic art styles that celebrate women and independence.

Despite language barriers, our connection as artists and individuals shines through in this documentary. ‘Beyond the Frames’ explores the profound impact of location on Francoise Dedon’s art while showcasing the unwavering support and love she receives from her family, especially her devoted daughter.

This version maintains brevity while still conveying the essence of the documentary’s themes and the role of family support in Francoise Dedon’s life.
