11/5/23: Bari, Italy – Ostuni & Alberobello Day Trip
We hooked up with a group of 12 Vietnamese and went in 2 vans of 8 each for 40€/pp from the port of Bari, to Ostuni the « white city », a hilltop town with whitewashed houses in the heart of Puglia, and Alberollo, a World UNESCO site, a town famous by its trulli houses with conical roofs built up of corbelled limestones slabs, and not mortar so they can easily be taken down before a royal inspection in order to avoid paying taxes.
