This is a Sunday morning in bomberg last night Saturday night the streets were packed everybody was out they said that’s normal for Saturday on Bamberg even Fridays but it is 11:00 and as we always tell people Germany is closed after 6 on Friday and closed all day

Noon the city’s waking up a little here at noon getting a slightly more awake area yeah but it’s really we we saw this in the evening when the clouds and storms were coming in and then we walked through it the next day when it was cloudy so this is

The first time we’re really seeing it in the light you know in sunlight and it makes it a very different experience in a lot of ways but now we can catch the town the AL in the sunlight and the river level which clearly went up after the rainstorms the other day you are

Funny thing is we have we have walked every bridge in this town we really have is that the crane we saw blowing around the other night is what they call Little Venice over there part of it that’s part of Little Venice over there we saw it last night

Boarding and uh all right so Joyce and I are heading up to the little Monastery here Franciscan Monastery pretty little grounds it’ll have there so one last morning in bomberg it’s it’s a nice city I’ve enjoyed it we have been at a slower pace which

It lot of steep climbs there’s the castle we were at a couple of days ago good meal good beer and one Monastery that is under construction so you’re not allowed to go in you can go up and walk around it but we’ll go to the gardens

I just think it looks cool with the cathedral in the background so this this is a monastery it’s a historical site but it’s an active monastery just getting ready to open a couple of the ends here little bit of what’s left up their Gardens normally this whole thing would

It’s our last days in Bamberg. Tired from nearly a month in Germany, we elected just to relax and take it easy. We had planned to go to Bayreuth or Wurzburg, but we elected to stay in Bamberg and just keep to the town and see more here.

This is also when Anthony and Horst really began going through his train collection and bonded so much more. It was fun to see.
