145- Trois-Rivières Canada | L’île Saint Quentin + Train de Charlevoix

[Canada – Quebec – Trois-Rivières] [you can go to a specific sequence using the links in the description] [Vlog 145] Look at this lighthouse, it’s beautiful There and there it’s the Saint-Laurent with a great boat there

I suggest we go a little further there, at the bottom, there is an island that can be visited So we are going to follow the river and we are going to see what it gives So there we arrive on an esplanade [(the Esplanade Trois-Rivières)] With an amphitheater

I don’t really know what it is [It’s a cultural space its name is the Amphitheater Cogeco] But you have to go through there to get to the The island finally on the island, not Lille in France! Well, the ride isn’t great

I’m not going to lie to you For the moment it’s not great There’s the bridge we have to take to reach the island It’s cool, there is a pedestrian side set up We will try to go opposite there, to the belveder So there I arrived at the island of Saint Christophe

And in fact this island is mainly a golf course You see there in the background we can see it So you have to go to this island to go to the second island which is Saint-Quentin Island So a priori it’s at the end on the right, there would be a path

So we’ll see Ah! It’s a little quieter here Oh cars, forget it [I see water on the left I take a small path to look] [I continue the path] Here’s the bridge to Saint-Quentin Island is there There you go, we are on the island

And in the distance there is the amphitheater where we came from We are going to go for a little walk there, there is a small beach We are going to go see [The beach ends there] It’s a nice walk Well there you go Great That’s the point where we were just now Great

Come on let’s take another path, we’ll see That’s Incredible this crossing there That’s stop here It was superb! [A bird has just landed next to me] Look there’s a very small bird that has just landed there It’s funny, it flies around me I crushed some peanuts It’s not shy at all , look

I saw that he was approaching me so I’m going to try to move forward a little Ah! It’s there… it’s there, look [A squirrel has just arrived] I would like it to take it in my hand It’s so cute Do you want some more? [I move away a little to find others]

There’s a bird that has just landed, I don’t know if you see it? He’s red He has a red head I’m going to try to zoom in on you Ah he went back there He came back Are you still hungry? Well, it’s the last one because after me I have more Oh my!

There is none left ! There are no more There are no more Well, there you go, I’m leaving the island Listen, it was really a great visit that I advise you to do Now I’m going to go back slowly I’m back on the walk along the Saint-Laurent River

To give you my little conclusion and give you my opinion on TroisRivières So I really recommend visiting this town, it’s calm, there are small houses, it’s super nice . I definitely recommend going to the historic district and even going a little further towards the residential district.

I also advise you to go to Saint-Quentin Island. There’s a lot of nature there and it’s really great too. It’s accessible from the city, it’s really not very far And you might have the chance to come across squirrels like me

I also advise you to go to the Moulin de la Pointe du lac to walk the trails all around there in the forest, it was really great So if you have a car I advise you to go to the Mauricie park I don’t have one and unfortunately I couldn’t go there

But if you have one, I really recommend the tour, it must be great. I only showed you the tours around the city and accessible on foot . But if you have a car, obviously there are still plenty of other things to visit

So listen to me I’m going to take my bus there for Baie-Saint-Paul So I’ll see you very soon and the rest in the next episode [The next day in Quebec City] So here I am in Quebec, at the Montmorency Falls , look It’s superb

And so we’re going to take the train to go to Baie-Saint-Paul It’s the train from Charlevoix And imagine that this train is quite magical apparently since it runs along the Saint River -Laurent I think it’s going to be very beautiful Apparently it’s really worth doing

So we’re going to find out together Come on! This is the Charlevoix train [This train takes the old Charlevoix railway line whose construction began in 1881. In 2011, after a few years of stopping, it was put back into service as a tourist train] [

It runs along the Saint-Laurent over 125 kilometers between Quebec and La Malbaie] [When purchasing the ticket you must choose between: Mountain side or river side] [I chose the river side] That’s it, let’s start, cool! [and there are a few free places on the mountain side]

Well, listen for the moment there is no river We are still in the city [(mountain side)] [(river side)] Ah! That’s it, we see the river [All along the route we are given information] [(mountain side)] [to be continued…] [In the following vlog: Discover Baie-Saint-Paul with me] Oh my look at this house Awesome!

It’s excellent Look how magnificent it is It’s superb It’s fantastic, I don’t know what else to say Honestly it’s breathtaking [to be continued…] [If you liked it, don’t hesitate to subscribe to encourage me, by clicking here Or make a small donation to support me (link in the description)]

★ Discover with me Trois-Rivières on Canada
