漢諾威新市政廳是絕對的地標建築，開幕於1913年7月20日，二戰時遭到毀壞，二戰後重新裝飾修復。 修建耗時12年，耗資1,000萬馬克。 市政廳大廳有四座大型沙盤，展示了古時1689年及二戰前後1939年,1945年到現在漢諾威的城市變遷，令人感慨。 建築內外裝飾都很漂亮！
市政廳體現了德皇威廉二世時代的建築風格。 它既如同一座巴洛克宮殿，也含有許多新文藝復興的細節，非常值得觀賞。
