Besides Tokyo Character Street, you may also be interested in Tokyo Ramen Street which is located in the same area. Among the many shops under Tokyo Station, there is a special narrow hallway lined with Japan’s most famous ramen restaurants. It is an extremely popular spot, so do expect long queues.

AUGMENTED REALITY EVENT
Download the COCOAR2 camera app for your smart phone and point your device at any of the 5 AR photo frames located in and around First Avenue. A cartoon character respresenting one of the shops found in Tokyo Character Street will appear on your device’s screen which you can then take a selfie together with! Across the 5 locations are 12 characters in total, so try to find them all!

Present 1: Collect all the characters to get a special A4 clear file from the “Okashina-okashiyasan” shop also located in First Avenue.

Present 2: Upload a selfie with the character to social media and receive a small gift from the corresponding shop! Eg. If you take a photo with Crayon Shin-chan, then you may receive a novelty gift from the Crayon Shin-chan store.

Note 1: Present exclusion period 12/28~1/5 (presents will not be handed out during this period, however the AR photo frames will remain active).
Note 2: Presents are limited, and are available until out of stock.
Note 3: Presents given out by participating shops only.
Note 4: Sumikkogurashi shop does not hand out gifts on Saturday and Sundays.
