Hello friends and welcome to Thale in the Harz. In this video we visit the most beautiful viewpoint in the Harz together: the Rosstrappe. The best way to get to the top is with the chair lift that runs from Thale. From the mountain station it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the Rosstrappe viewpoint.

The Rosstrappe, as well as the one opposite Hexentanzplatz are legendary and very popular excursion destinations for the whole family in the Harz. Back from the Rosstrappe you can go to the Bülowshöhe viewing point, which is only a few minutes away from the Hotel Rosstrappe.

And then our trip together begins, with the chair lift down, over. Once we reach the bottom, we take a look at the Bode River that created this valley

Von der Rosstrappe aus kann das ganze Bodetal mit der wunderschönen Schlucht bestaunt werden.
