Previous van there there’s so much more power for a star and uh and it’s but it’s quieter I think I think it’s quieter and not it’s smoother at least yeah I think we still got things at at the back that we need to uh sort out like the cutlery is

Moving up and down so we’ve still got things like that to do but we spent 3 hours just from um we spent about 3 hours yesterday didn’t we sorting everything out yeah yeah and still sorting things out this morning but we got Mrs sat nag with

Shrewsbury we’re not going right we’re going straight on Oh I thought we were going no I said right is North Wales oh I see right okay oh go didn’t Clos the cupboard cupboards closed it is now well it seems like we’ve been on the A5 forever doesn’t it yeah we’re

Actually turning on to the a49 yeah so not far away now about 5 minutes are they 5 minutes early as well yeah take a slow 5 minutes then yeah rival ‘s 2:00 and the roundabout take the third exit that’s been quite a long journey isn’t it really seems it doesn’t it yeah

Yeah the drive seemed easier though oh I think it’s easier I’m more comfortable there quite a lot of roundabouts W there a lot roundout quite a lot of gear changes there would be wer there and is this the a49 going south I don’t I don’t know says third exit

Anyway doesn’t it yeah well it’s a sign saying uh a49 South closed at marook no idea where that is no why do they do those signs why not just say closed in half a mile or take the third or six miles so we’ have no idea whether it’s closed or

Not CU we’re definitely going south aren’t we yeah navigate to Bay Stone Hill Pim I can’t find that place what address did you want to navigate to that address try the post code I found it found It it’s can’t be far away she’s actually going to the road this is one’s just going to the place then take the first left half a mile we’re turning right yeah they come off the A5 onto the a49 yeah it’s not far up here it’s a third of a mile two of a

Mile so it should be all right yes not here is it no no entry turn right onto Crossroads then take the first left must remember to let Glenn know about this might have the same Panic that we just had turn left onto LIF Hill Road yeah it’s in lith Hill Road

Us to go oh was it oh right in half a mile arrive at Bley park on the left yeah it’s a really awkward Junction there because you can’t see the wall uh can’t see past the wall like two of a Mile arriving at Bley park on the left yeah it’s in here it’s a bit hidden isn’t it and we go straight down right yeah it’s quite narrow Sho trees here yeah got to watch that wall there as well we stop here I assume he stopping I don’t

Know yeah otherwise people won’t get out will they o if you going to drive someone seeing us where in this house here she just waved at us I don’t know the radio off they waving at or they coming out or don’t think they’re coming out no okay we go down

Stuck it’s coming well after the little drama of getting getting stuck so trouble with having a four 4 and 1/ half ton mot home is when the wet’s when the grass is wet you’re going to get stuck poppy don’t go into the mud please and uh it has been shuing it down

This morning so I probably should have been a bit more careful there but what a view we’ve got here yeah only two of us on the campsite at the moment apart from the tires the motor home’s not too bad not too Mucky but uh bound to get Mucky yeah so three hookups

There J up let’s have a little wand down the bottom here yeah Jenny’s got the coffee on and me and Poppy are going to have a little Wonder go on the Hideway it’s going to have a look yeah got somewhere to sit after the rain go up in

Here got a old oil drum as a table cable drum rather so there’s a dart board and darts kindling firelighters a fire pit here sink obviously you can do your washing up here oh he says uh yeah put your food items in the bin don’t wash it down the sink

Cuz they’ve got a soak away here okay bit about vanguardian habitats and management of Life Hill local nature reserve could have done with that the other day home Tire yeah I think they’ve got a that barbecue yeah it is a barbecue brick point isn’t it there some sort of a house or

Something or offices maybe one time somewhere else to sit out when the weather’s nice Bobby I’m think I’m going to draw the line at going down there I haven’t got me Wellies on but yeah you could walk down there come on puppy see if you can get around here don’t go through the

Mud that’s it oops Yeah there’s been an awful lot of rain really Has when we got here we could see the hills are shrouded in Mist again so I expect the rain’s coming back there we are we’re up there bins as we found we past them exit that way and a chemical disposal point over [Applause] here there we

Go and green fluids only so it’ll be all right with soul buyer well here comes the rain come on a PO it’s going to get my coffee well it was clean once come on here we go pop I don’t need to remember how many miles per gallon this is doing because

It tells you on the big screen here average consumption 24.5 MP gallon average speed 34 mph 2 hours 34 we were traveling done 88 miles took about half an hour longer than it said it would then yeah it’s the day before Easter yeah and it’s weather’s awful weather is pretty revolting isn’t it

Didn’t you know they’re the bits of video you should record yeah you should have a title shouldn’t you disaster stuck in the mud yeah yeah but we’re going nowhere have to go home there yeah well I think I started to say we’re stuck yeah then I thought we better

Concentrate on getting unstuck no I mean it’s no no surprise really we got stuck and these fields are absolutely wet through but uh anyway puppy’s made herself at home bit worried whether she’d adjust to it I mean she can get up on here doesn’t seem that much narrower than well it’s a

Little bit narrow but she was sort of wobbling on it I don’t think she was that Keen no on it there no so she’s well she’s tired now after the journey so she sort of Blends in doesn’t she her crate and everything with a color scheme yeah we’re struggling with these covers

As we thought we might yes we’ll see get some with straps or hooks or something yeah I’ve have seen some with straps yeah yeah so expecting uh this lot tomorrow back yes I’m hoping they can go next door to us because hopefully yeah I think they’re going to Fancy the grass

The washroom and I wondered what that noise was it’s the blower it’s a heater blower BL the door’s just locked what sorry the door is just locked the door is just what locked locked locked oh yeah this is I mean it’s driving as nuts whil we were loading it

This auto lock every time you close a door it locks on you whether you got the keys on you or not tell everyone what you did this morning I lost my glasses yeah yeah that’s the first thing yeah I put them in a box and I forgot where I put the

Box so we weren’t going anywhere will we would you couldn’t see and then what did you do with looking for them you took the keys and I started the engine so I had them in the ignition and I went in the house and you shut the door I shut

The door auto lock auto lock y y so so luckily I’d got my keys haven’t I yeah and you were able to get in the door weren’t you yeah retrieve your keys so if anyone knows why that’s happening could they please tell poppy cuz it was really annoying wasn’t it

Pops anyway onto the bedroom now we got the D duvallet set up on here I’ll just put a cover in the middle there to cover that out and uh seems to work all right under here under here I’ve got a Telly in this bag because we haven’t got a bracket set up

There yet so hopefully we’ll get a bracket set up we go back to Todd put a bracket in there and uh get the Telly set up I’m planning just to sort of plunk it on there for now I think you you want to Telly up there as well don’t you I think

So yeah that’s see how we get on with this one yeah cuz it’s in a better position than the previous van if we can put a Telly up there but we’ll see I had the on Route heating on whil we were on our way yeah B on gas warming up now a little

Bit but yeah loving it so far really enjoying it taso out put all the lights on it’s flickering a bit light that’s interesting Ah that’s why got it on the wrong uh no so if you put it on 100% you don’t get the flickering right so like when you go

Into a van at the show the show you can get flickering can’t you that’s right yeah yeah it’s because it’s because the dimmer has cut in the light every so often and it’s effectively flashing light yeah keep finding bits of things what on Earth is that IDE it’s going in the bin

It might have belonged to the old Awning or something one of those no I think it was a one of those old sucker things connections not important no so everything else is in the garage isn’t it we we triy to yeah that’s see your problem now isn’t it cuz if I’ve

Forgotten it he in it’s in the garage we Tred to keep things we need in here [Applause] yeah I think most of the things we need are are in here AR I haven’t put the front screen on for that reason no I that would get wet through anyway didn’t

Notice there was no whistling from this uh sunroof no cuz some of these um we’ve fired we’ve had like a whistle the whole time haven’t we but no no it’s been good and it been relatively quiet isn’t it yes yeah yeah I mean so far everything

Seems to be working yeah I mean remember with the Thor the very first time we went to nbor the toilet wasn’t working the toilet didn’t work is if you switch the tap on toilet flushed is really clever I don’t know managed to do that there something to do

With a solenoid in the toil it wasn’t it that’s right yeah so we’re here for five nights is it I think it is is it Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Monday yeah five nights and it’s 25 a night yeah so that’s 125 right which it’s not bad for Easter is

It it’s all right for you isn’t it which she’s nice and relaxed so that’s good but we are going to relax on yeah they been a busy week yeah yeah I better just say about the app this is the 2024 app and a few people said they

Couldn’t get it to work with their Conti I downloaded this yesterday from the um Play Store and it seems to be working very well I’ve got a little video recorded yesterday so I I will show that in a minute minute but if you look see if I can do this if you

Look in the about there we go yes so if you look in the about page my version is 1.0.5 so make sure you got that version and let me know if yours is working with that if you’ve got a new contiki right so I’ve downloaded the

2024 version of of the uh Swift command app and it appears to be working okay now so let’s have a look so I’ve got lighting so switch the entry light on there we go and switch the dimmer on there you go that seems to be working okay Power yeah charging all

Good and the water yep that’s it the water pump on turn it off and the environment and what looks good the heating yeah a manual with let’s put the energy on there we go and the timers yeah oh they come up nice and quick now that’s good and finally the

Fridge got the fridge on Mains at the moment yeah let set on auto good I need to take the fridge vents off I said that before in there okay not all good and that is the version 1.0.5 so yeah seems to be working well there flicker on that but it does

Flicker on it yeah that’s why it’s difficult to show it yeah it’s difficult to show this but cuz I got a bit of a flicker on it but I’ve got my phone connected cuz my phone’s an Android phone but we’ve also added Jenny’s phone although it says Robert’s

IPhone it’s never changed the name is Jenny’s phone so if I wanted to switch to um Jenny’s phone tap that tap that button and it says do you want to switch connections and end your current Android auto session so if I say yes it’s now connected to Jenny’s phone

And then I’ve got Android uh sorry then I’ve got Apple carplay so then obviously you can do Google Maps or you’ve got Napster and WhatsApp and uh what else got I need you got Maps messages and phone so that’s Jenny’s phone connected to the main display we couldn’t do that with a car

Pide no couldn’t figure out how to do it I’ve just gone into T time out right so I’ve got the collapse filter back on there now it did say to let the water drain out onto the grass here there’s been plenty your water about so there’s no dedicated water

Drain facilities so I’m just going to use me app there we go I just got back from a nice day out at blists Hill so that’ll be our next video and I just realized I needed to record how much the site was here the site pitch is 25 tonight

Um you do get get 10 KW of electricity per night and there’s a meter in there somewhere there recorded our reading when we got here and our reading after 2 days being here uh we’ve used 62.5 five units uh and you get 20 20 for two days

Um included so we’ve actually used 42.5 five or we’ve got to pay for 42.5 five 35p a unit and that comes to £490 uh so if you include a 25 plus £7 45 uh for each night it’s £ 3245 we’re paying uh to have electricity on this campsite it has got me thinking

Obviously we need probably need to cut down our electricity usage cuz we had the electricity whacked up way high we had the 2 KW option on and once you start to pay for electricity you start to think is it cheaper to actually use uh gas so it might be but I’m not sure

Yet but I have turned the heating down whilst we were out so I did that a little bit earlier and they do suggest on the website that it’s a 6 amp limit per site so I’ve reduced our consumption down to 6% I’m going to remember to turn

The heating off whilst we’re out so I’ve gone into heating gone to the to timer and I’m going to put that keep going keep to off so whil we’re out it shouldn’t be I can turn that off as well go so we shouldn’t be using any electricity there for for

Heating there we are Jenny told me to say it’s Jenny’s birthday today didn’t tell you to say that but it is Jenny’s birthday so she yeah yeah we gathered that we brought a few cards only the only the cards that will fit on the table thousands more in

There you’re not going to tell everyone how old we are no no and you’re not going to either no but she’s a year older than me now only for a few months yeah so we’re really enjoying our time here the weather has been well it’s

Quite nice at the moment but it has been pretty changeable and windy and wet windy and wet so hopefully we’ll get slightly better weather planning a couple of days uh are going out with with Glenn and Sharon have arrived now and uh they’ve got a
