🇫🇷 Feria de Pâques en Arles 2024 – Walking Tour 4K FRANCE
Date: Saturday March 30, Temperature: 12°C/53°F – ARLES FRANCE Boulevard des Lices (Arles 13200) The horses wait for the Abrivado at 8 p.m. The peñas are undeniably linked to the Feria. These associations of friends and experienced partygoers bring the conviviality of the holidays to life.
Throughout the duration of the feria, music is on every street corner. Peñas, bandas and Sevillanes will have you dancing all night long! We are currently attending the Guardians’ presentation for an abrivado. It is a release of bulls in the streets of the city supervised by herdsmen on horseback.
The abrivado, or abrivade after Frenchization, was formerly the driving of the bulls from the pastures to the arenas under the supervision of herdsmen. The bandido was the return of the bulls from the arenas to the pastures. Place de la République (Arles 13200) Place du Forum (Arles 13200)
Place du Forum brings together several open-air bodegas. It is the busiest in Arles. You can have a drink and eat a paella. Terraces are improvised in the middle of the street by the restaurateurs. This private Bodega is the best known, you have to be patient to be able to get in 🙂
