  1. Make sure you check out the Mornington Peninsula, Surf Coast/Great Ocean rd, High Country and Macedon Ranges (so many cute quaint towns, throughout)…

  2. A worldwide group voted Melbourne as, "The worlds most livable city," six years in a row.

You didn't get to see the magnificent world-famous Melbourne Cricket ground, the MCG. Aside from cricket it is home to Australian rules football, the greatest ball sport on the planet. Even if you're not into football, you will be blown away by Aussie rules football. It has the highest weekly attendances of any ball sport in the world per capita, and is fourth highest in the world regardless of population. Trust me, do yourself a favour and search for, "What is AFL, Aussie rules explained." It's so different, and so exciting, and you will be blown away. 🇦🇺🦘

  3. I've been living in Melbourne for a few years now and I'm always finding new cool areas to explore. Best place I've ever lived in. Glad your having a great time 🙂

  4. What rivalry. I was born in melbourne lived here for 52 years its the biggest shithole its a boring freezing dump. Sydney is a world class city its night and day.

  5. A couple of things, the NGV ( National Gallery of Victoria) is not the museum, that’s the Melbourne Museum which is next door to the Royal Exhibition Building. Secondly the Sydney Melbourne rivalry dates back to the early 1900 when our original government was trying to work out which city should be the capital. It was decided that Melbourne should hold the Federal Parliament and Sydney would hold the Stock Exchange. In the end it got so messy they created Canberra- which is in the middle of the 2 cities. Move onto the 2020’s and Melbourne is now the biggest city in Australia. Sydney used to hold this title…. So the grumbling will continue. I heard the other day a great description Melbourne is the book and Sydney is the film, I think that says it all.

  6. Wow, you've done a lot in such a short time – did I give you the tip about Lune croissants last time? 🙂 Fun fact, the suburb of Northcote has the highest cafes per capita. Glad you enjoyed experiences off the tourist trail. If you get time, you should check out the suburb of Yarraville – it was actually voted one of the coolest suburbs in the world by Lonely Planet I think. You will also enjoy the historic seaport town of Williamstown (take a metro train there). I personally think it's the most unique suburb in Melbourne. Hope you get time to go to Phillip Island and Mornington Peninsula too! Dandenong Ranges are closer and you can get tour buses from the city. Mornington – you can get down there by local train to Frankston and then regional buses.

  7. I live here! Subscribing to your channel because the vibe is just so chill and positive ✨ ps: you guys also picked good spots

  8. Looks like you missed the stained glass ceiling in the National Gallery. ( which is an art gallery, not a museum) . Glad you like Melbourne! 😊

  9. This city review prompted me to do some research.Melbourne is currently named as the third Most Liveable City In The World and has held the number one title for seven consecutive years, is currently named the twentieth best city in the world, the worlds tenth best ciity for culture, in 2018 was named Live Music Capital of the World, placed fifteenth in Great Music Cities of the World and has been awarded the title of Sporting Capital of the World. No wonder.Melbourne hosts the Melbourne Cup (the richest handicap horse race in the world), the Australian Open ( a grand slam tennis competition ), the Formula One Australian Grand Prix, the Australian Motor Cycle Grand Prix at Philip Island, the Boxing Day Test ( huge in international cricket) and the AFL Grand Final which attracts one hundred thousand people.Interestingly, Squeaky Beach on Wilsons Promontory, is currently named Australia's best beach.

  10. Chefs kiss of a video guys! Pretty rare to see people actually go to the top spots all one after the other: Fitzroy – NGV❤ – Botanical Gardens – War memorial (underrated inside) – Queen Vic (south Melbourne market better but you went straight for the donuts, so well played) – state library ❤ – and the other places could have been anywhere after that. Perfect 1-2 days in Melb right there.

  11. Did you go into the original brick building that hosts the old proper Victoria Market shops (butchers etc?). That’s my favourite part.

  12. You guys really picked some of the best spots in Melbourne. Well done! Fitzroy is my favourite neighbourhood to wander around in for sure. If you're coming back some time and want to check out a market where you can do a bit of shopping, South Melbourne Market is the way to go! It's only about 10min on the tram from the cbd and very bougie but definitely worth visiting.

  13. Here for the correct pronunciation of Melbourne! I’m from the Gold Coast but Melbourne is hands down the best city in Australia. Walkable, great public transport, amazing food/drinks and very photogenic.

  14. Hey team, I was overly excited to hear your thoughts on Australia. I grew up in Tasmania, lived in Melbourne and the GC now residing in Sydney. You have done Australia well, done it justice and made an incredible story along the way. Thank you for sharing! Thank you for your opinions, thank you for showing our country to the world. I don't speak on behalf of immigration or the country but if it means anything, you are always welcome here! Bless you both. P.S I appreciate your perspective, the perspective of people into art, culture, natural beauty, fashion, architecture and food…… Based on your Australian choices your opinions are valid and worth listening to. Again, thank you!

  15. Well done with the pronunciation of Melbourne. Thanks for all the lovely compliments! Make sure that you take a picnic to Healesville Sanctuary (see wombats, emus, platypus, koalas, kangaroos and wallabies)

  16. I'm very proud to have spent my entire life in Melbourne. I don't know nor care if it's the ''coolest city ever''. I've lived in several other cities, but home is where the heart is. I know that's cliche, but that's how I feel…

  17. Go to South Melbourne markets; Grenville street; Dundas and Faucet ; Yoku Ono; rUni Melbourne campus.. some more amazing spots. But I’m biased.. Melbourne is the best city in Australia hands down
