  1. I know the guy he is my friend and he works with my dad as a his first mate. I just talked with his mom and they just called off the search… I am heart broken over this and having a hard time with the reality of all this. My wife and I just bought him a cake for his 20th birthday last month.

  2. Seems like it’s the new way to commit suicide. This is so sad for the survivors and for the innocent bystanders , who are the other passengers, who had been looking forward to a vacation , and a good time.

  3. I read that his dad was not happy he had too much to drink, and the son said something like I'll fix it now, and he jumped, this was from a witness who saw every thing unfold, that poor family

  4. I was litterally on this ship.. Happened a couple of days ago. He jumped off of the ship at about around 4:30 in the morning. It was near the solarium hot tub in the adult pool area. He was fighting with his family because his dad was mad at him for being drunk. We heard yelling and then him screaming "I'll fix this right now" and we heard a splash a couple of moments later. They haven't found him so far. They sent a search and rescue helicopter to look for him and all of the boats in the area
had their spotlights on to try and aid the search for him. Chances are, the guy is dead. Jumping from the 11th floor of a cruise ship is deadly. From that high up, the impact of hitting the water is like jumping from the 11th floor of a building and hitting straight concrete. If he survived the fall, the water is ice cold and the water is shark infested. Sending ❤ ❤ ❤ to his family.

  5. You can not just oops and stumble over a Cruise Ship's railings because you are drunk.
You literally have to pull yourself over or jump over the railing that surrounds the ship.
Drunk people do stupid stuff, but what is with all the people going overboard on these Cruise Ships nowadays??
Despite it's looks, it's a long way down to that water.

  6. I was on that ship when it happened. It happened at 4 in the morning and we were told because his dad said something about his drinking.I'm heart broken for the family and friends that were there with him.
