Assemble
good morning everyone welcome to a Clary
tale Welcome to our first day here in
Paris and we are heading into the city
to have a look around we’re going to go
to some of the famous sites including
the Lou AR the Triumph Eiffel Tower of
course so come along with us let’s have
a fun day in Paris so this is our hotel
we’ve just come out instead of turning
right for Disneyland Paris we are
turning left because we we are heading
to the Val D train station if you are
staying at Disney though you can just
get on at man La valet this train
station is just closer to the hotel but
yeah if you’re getting on at Mara valet
or Valor up it’s exactly the same train
line it’s the r that you’re going to
need to head straight into Paris so I’ll
show you more of that in a sec it’s so
rainy this sucks but we’re still going
to make the most of our trip to Paris
and Charlotte’s got her
par Bon
today let’s hope it clears up a bit for
a nice Eiffel Tower picture so we just
walked straight through there past the
hotel de and we are walking down into
valck this way and then to get to Disney
housing we used to have to go down this
road here straight down there but we’re
turning
right into the mall oh it’s open that’s
good they have some nice restaurants
around here and this is such a short
walk from our hotel it’s so well
situated that hotel so this is the food
court we’re just walking through the
shops
now to the other side oh there’s
actually a sign there for the AR so you
can just follow the signs and at least
we’re not getting
wet they’ve got so many shops in here
they’ve actually got a Primark in here
Apple Store there’s a Zara down there
there’s even a Sephora in here and then
and uni they have an ocean as well and
that is such a good french Supermarket
if you want to grab some cants and
things for Park days and snacks so this
is oan this is where I used to get my
groceries when I was a gas member and
we’re carry on going straight through
Straight to the train station we have
come out of the mall that’s Hotel Al if
anyone has stayed there before that’s a
really good hotel really well situated
because this the train station is
literally here now right here we are at
the r a
line Val
Rob right let’s get our
tickets Paris
City tickets for Paris full Fair we’re
going to get one each so it’s 5 to get
in so let’s get two of those €10 total
validate and then the tickets come out
here and these are our single tickets
into Paris so this is our ticket it was
€5 and we’re going to validate it by
putting it through the machines should
we see oh it’s 11 minutes
time the the trains are really frequent
1119 31
one so these are the two lines that way
goes back to Disney and then this is to
Paris and we are going to go all the way
down to chatet laar all of these ones
are Paris stops so this one is the shamb
but we’re getting off here cuz this is
the closest to the lou and that’s where
we’re heading first right we just got
off train it was a double decker train
it’s so
cool so we are at the closest stop here
to the LOF uh because of the rain we’re
just going to get the Metro one stop
over to the lou just to make it a bit
easier so we’re following signs for the
M1 and it’s just going to be one stop
over to the L so this ticket worked for
this one stop to L you don’t have to buy
a new ticket so we’re still using the 5
ticket that goes to any Paris station
right following signs for the
M1 that was easy here we go straight to
the
lou oh should we get it
quick
yeah we’ve just come out of the Metro
how dod you feel you’re in Paris
and we actually came out this is where
my parents and I had breakfast at bone
me and it was so good should we have a
little look at the at the cants and
stuff look at those
cakes look at this
place looks so good we’ve decided not to
have breakfast there we are going to
find a little cafe in the Loof they have
a food court in there and there’s a
famous hot chocolate place that we’ve
seen that we might get a nice hot
chocolate in and we’re here
amazing and just like that we’re in
Paris we’re at the L it is so easy that
train it was about 40 minutes and then
we got that extra Metro One Stop and
here we are so if you are staying at
Disney and we’re thinking about coming
to Paris hopefully I’ve shown you just
how easy it is to come to pyus and see
all the sites we are actually going to
go into Lou today so I’ll let you know
how much the tickets are we’ve got to go
see the mon Lisa it’s Charlotte’s first
time here she’s never seen it before so
got to go and do all the famous things
they also have a statue called the Venus
de Milo so we’re going to see that as
well there it is you done it
yay right everyone’s doing that pointing
thing it’s like the must be a signature
thing to do yeah the pizza let’s see see
let’s get you pointing to the top right
lift your arm up and to the
left to the right I’m already joking
you’ve already done it right so we are
about to enter the Lou but I was just
saying to Charlotte we’re going to walk
down here after the luou the AR the tree
ARS down there and the chambal and then
we’ll head back that way to the Eiffel
Tower that’s our plan so we have just
come to the side a second because we’re
booking our tickets online it’s an hour
wait right now without a reservation so
if we book a reservation you’re allowed
straight in and you can book it right
now so we’re booking that is
€22 each and we’ll be allowed straight
into the museum which is great maybe try
and do that before you come here if you
know what time you’re going to be here
book it in advance or you can just do it
at the door it’s letting us book right
now for two tickets so we’re just going
to do that great is it worked yes Fab
we’ve got our tickets and now we can
head straight in and not have to wait an
hour in the queue here we go right we
are going in so we have entered the
museum we’re heading up to the first
floor because there’s a famous cafe here
called Angelina and apparently they do
really good hot chocolate so let’s see
what it’s all
about here we
go oo
cute oh we got a
view thank you look at the view oh my
gosh so this is the
menu we’ve got crossant Pano chocola
they’ve got cure here as well and then
the famous hot chocolate is just here
our Angelina hot chocolate it’s fairly
expensive $8.90 but look where we are
we’ve got the view of the
L
messy look at this oh my God this looks
so
good wow I’m so excited about this look
how thick that chocolate is oh my
goodness me look at that chocolate it’s
so thick this is
amazing let’s hope it tastes as good as
it
looks look at
[Music]
this
what it’s so thick look at
this
I am ready to eat this this looks
delicious is it
good we have just asked for a little bit
of extra cream because the thing with
this kind of chocolate is it’s very
bitter so the cream just makes it nice
and sweet so we have Sal places so I’ve
got the view now wow that hot chocolate
was something else with that view we
honestly just had so such a good time we
were there ages just soaked all in I’m
going to remember that for so long we
are in the Lou now we’re going to look
around we’re going to make a be line for
the moon Lisa maybe go and see the Venus
de Milo and see any other important bits
and then head out so we’re on the first
floor and we’re just going to head
straight to the Moon Lisa right which
direction who e so down and around right
let’s go they do have some amazing
things in this Museum but we just want
to see the highlights don’t we we’ve got
lots to see today yeah there are some
beautiful rooms that we’re walking
through to get to the moona Lisa wow
this is stunning in
here there is just so much to see in
this
Museum you could literally spend a day
in here wow this is the crown of Louis
the 15th it is beautiful they also have
the French crown jewels
here wow here we go signs for the mo
Lisa
lond right we’ve just turned right
into the room where the monisa is I can
see
her oh it is
amazing amazing to see it with our own
eyes so many people say how
disappointing and small this is but
actually I think it is incredible let’s
see if we can get anywhere near it we’re
here at the Mona there oh wait right
there it
[Music]
is amazing how
cool here she is the Mona Lisa all have
Pride and
Glory so we’ve come to the other side
now to see if she’s still following us
and she is she’s giving us the side
eye it’s
amazing oh here’s a little more about
the Mona Lisa if you’d like to pause and
have a little look here we go who was
the Mona
Lisa Da Vinci never finished the Mona
Lisa I didn’t actually know
that wow the lower part of the landscape
is evidently
incomplete
wow anything else oh here’s the
smile does it say anything about her
eyes oh yeah here we go turning to greet
us depicting Lisa as if she were
naturally turning to welcome
us cool we have just stumbled upon the
winged victory it is called the winged
victory of Samo race it’s displayed so
beautifully so the next stop at the Lou
is the Venus Deo amazing here she is
this is the Venus
Deo here’s a bit more information about
the Venus de Milo it depicts Aphrodite
goddess of
love oh it’s dated from about 120 BC
that’s incredible 120
BC wow wow 120 BC it just makes you see
it in a different light when you realize
how old this is and so well preserved as
well we are exiting the Lou now that was
successful wasn’t it we saw everything
we wanted to see so happy with that we
are heading out now to carry on looking
around
Paris and we didn’t actually get any
food so we should look at get some food
got some cants yeah they didn’t have any
quants left because it breakfast was
over unfortunately so we’ll get
something for lunch on our way maybe
down sham yeah so there’s the L we are
now walking this
way and this is the dire direction of AR
the Triumph ah the first glimpse of the
Eiffel Tower how’d you feel very French
very French oh my gosh this is so
exciting and we’ve got some French music
to accompany
us how exciting I love walking this I do
it every time I walk straight past the L
you get to see the Eiffel Tower
here oh a Triumph oh the fountain has
been dra
that’s the Muse dors there Eiffel Tower
we’re going this way so that needle
that’s the plaster La
Concord we are at the plaster La
Concord there’s the Eiffel Tower and
we’re heading straight down there to the
arc to Triumph This is it we’re at the
start of the
shamp it is unfortunately
raining this is very Parisian this
advertising thing that is so good Levis
opening soon but look at those jeans
that is actually

amazing we’re going to have a little
look inside Sephora I no red carpet down

[Music]
oh oh
okay well we’ve had a hair demonstration
and we bought a Sephora mask random
going to have a pamper evening yeah
successful Sephora
trip oh we’ve both got a cross on each
it’s lovely and warm feeling very French
right now with our cant walking down the
Shams does tast tastes good it’s so soft
and so
warm here we go we’re coming up to the
AR Triumph so my so guys on your left
you’ll see passes by yeah looking at the
stue a clar tale tours on the left hand
side we’ve got arct
trium fun fact about the arct trium is
that it’s shaped like an
arch so the way to the Eiffel Tower is
this way but with the rain we have
decided just to get the Metro which is
down here just to get to the Eiffel
Tower quicker and without having to get
wet so we are here at Charles the go 12
this stop is actually on the re a line
so if you are coming from Disney you can
get off and be right at the O Triumph if
you wanted to and but this will take us
to the Eiffel Tower it’s just a couple
of stops and we’ll be there
we’re following signs for to fell until
we actually see
it here it is the toy
fell the rain’s gone off a little bit so
that’s
good this is our final destination this
was the icon the last thing on our
little Paris tour oh I love this Paris

Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!! NEW SERIES INCOMING! Disneyland Paris Vlogs 2024!!!!

Today it’s our full day in Paris city centre!!! How do you get into Paris from Disney?? I show you in the vlog!! If you are staying at Disneyland Paris or offsite at Val D’Europe I show you how to get into Paris. It’s so easy so I hope this inspires you to go into Paris city from Disneyland Paris.

I start at the Aparthotel Adagio at Serris – offsite Disney hotel near Val D’Europe. I show you the way to the train station from the hotel going through the mall. Inside the mall are shops like Sephora, Uni Qlo, Zara, Primark and the french supermarket Auchan. We walk out the other side to the station where the RER A line goes straight to Paris. I show you how to get tickets to Paris. The tickets at 5 euros each way. We get off at chatelet les halles and then get the Metro M1 one stop to the Louvre due to the rain. The metro spits us out at Bo&Mie an amazing bakery I went to with my parents on my last trip. We walk around to the Louvre! The train was about 40-50 mins and it was so easy! We stay outside at the Louvre pyramids while we books our museum tickets. The price of tickets to the Louvre is 22 euros each. We booked them before going in to avoid the long line. When we got in we went straight to Cafe Angelina for what is apparently the best hot chocolate in Paris! Cafe Angelina is inside the Louvre museum itself. It was a fairly pricey hot chocolate and it was very bitter! It was such a fun experience! And it was delicious. We came out and head to see the famous pieces at the Louvre. We made a beeline for the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory and Venus de Milo. We left the Louvre and walked towards the arc de triomphe via champs elysees and place de la concorde. We went shopping on the champs elysees, saw a Sephora, Paul for croissants. It started raining so when we got to charles de gaulle etoile we got the metro straight to the Eiffel Tower. We spent a bit of time at la Tour Eiffel and then headed back to the metro and went back to Disney on the RER A line straight to Marne la Vallee. We spent the evening at Disney Village and ate dinner there.

Thank you so much for watching I hope you enjoyed a day in Paris! Hope it has inspired you to visit Paris while visiting Disneyland Paris!

  1. Wow, even though we mostly watch for your Disney vlogs you are simply an amazing tour guide. Maybe if Disney is not smart enough to make you their ambassador to the UK or Europe you can start your own tour guide company.

  2. Sadly the rain and cloudy skies didn’t show off Paris to its best (not that I’ve been – lol). Fun to hear you reminiscing about shopping while you worked on the Disney program. Not like you Claire to order a hot chocolate. 😂. For Charlotte’s first ever visit what a bonus to be shown around the iconic sights with a fluent speaking friend, has your guide.

  3. Hi, I have only just found your wonderful vlogs – thanks very much for them. I didn’t realise that Angelina had a cafe in the Louvre. The original, famous Angelina tea room is just further on past the Louvre on the Rue de Rivoli, opposite the Jardin des Tuileries.

  4. The luve is amazing but it’s so big you need atleast two trips to see it all me and my partner went to Paris for my 30th while I was 4 months pregnant and walked the whole way round Paris in one day nearly 40 miles and even got engaged there was so special and an amazing holiday would love to go back one day and do it all again with the kids and maybe a cheeky visit to Disney thrown in

  5. 🤗 thanks for sharing!! What an amazing day even though it was rainy….. It’s fun to see how you know your way around 😊 and know how to get the most out of the day….can’t wait for next week and Disney!!

  6. It was fun seeing your day in Paris. I learned so much in this video. Never knew about the Paris looking city so close to DL Paris! We have been there twice and always stay at Marriott's Village d'ile-de-France. I thought the only village close to DLP was the super tiny village near the Marriott. Crazy that we never saw the area where you were walking to the train station at the beginning of this video. We missed so much. Well we will save it for next time. Charlotte is such a great addition to the vlog; she has a cute personality.
