W today we’re in Cologne a city in West
Germany of 1 million people on the Ry
River cologne is famous for K beer
cologne descent and having the world’s
tallest twin Spire Cathedral is that
right yeah condom oh okay sick we’ve
each got one day in Cologne I got to
make mine up all as I go and I have
planned the perfect day down to the
minute there might be a few despair we
going to do each other’s days and have a
discussion at the end to see who is the
winner planned all

home I’m known for saying the term Betty

mostly right about beers and that’s why

all home roasting one there’s no one out

haven’t seen anywhere that looks nice
that is also open I’ll be honest guys
that guys’s at the K Place hurt my
feelings you know with the tip stuff I
tipped him like5 it was way too much was
turns out we looked it up afterwards you
meant to round up that’s what he meant I
could have just given him an extra year

know how I’m going to win now this has
been way too much of a detour I’m in a
sh mood Katie hasn’t had fun in about 2
hours um there’s no way I’m going to win
this so I might as well just go home and
um watch the footy and look forward to

day here we are in Cologne on my day
we’ve already had Ving day or at least
part one of it so today we’re going to
have a bit of a sensory experience
cologne’s greatest hit I’m really
excited I’ve put a fair bit of planning
into it I’ve got all the notes on my
phone do you like to know our first stop

you could like fall in there and get
chopped up and you wouldn’t even

care I’m getting my hopes up on the free
things because I waited my whole
childhood to go on the scoobydoo ride at
M world and when I got there it was
close for maintenance so I always
prepare for something to not be working
when I go to a
place
a that very good I think that’s just
solid

are going for lunch they advertise
themselves as a friendly cologne brew
house so I’m hoping we have friendly

star so the building that we’re in was
first recorded from about 15
40 so it’s a very old Brew House Dutch
cheese with roll butter and
onions that really
yummy good potato what are you reing
about the RH R me off a bit and I’ll try
way I think it feels a bit too waxy it’s

yeah so can you point out the place

so we just finished in the Farina
fragrance Museum unfortunately we
weren’t allowed to film or take photos
in the museum itself as it was guided to
her you could take some in the gift shop
I enjoyed that though I found it very
informative I did too really like these
little fragrance samples they gave us
and we each got a tiny little
Aon so we have reached the final stuff
of my day which is dinner I have picked
this place because it is another one of
cologne’s most famous respected Brew
houses it is also proud of its
apparently friendly waiting stuff I
actually think it’ be nice to have a big
fat snitty here I have half a schnitzel
black pudding potato SAU craut and fried
onion it’s
good but I am going to add soft what
pickled boiled ham
hamsted oh man yummy I’m so glad I got
this this is good happy with my choices
today yes yeah yeah I think I’ve had a
successful day there was a bit of
waiting
between the museum and here but apart
from that I didn’t know how long the
museum was going to go for and I knew
that they were close to each other i’
rather have some downtime than
potentially missing the start of
something or missing a booket so you
know part of planning is planning to not
be late yeah I was going to say this was
vabar but I’ve been told I’ve been told
you don’t say that yeah you
do great that’s

we’re both on our fit that’s a leader of
beer that’s a lot of beer even though
you think like it’s in these little
things you end up drinking your fair sh

bring a new one before you’re done so if
you get into there and you don’t want
another one probably cover it

won colog a city that’s so famous for K
we went to three places famous for doing
it Peter’s K we went to on your day was
a lot more touristy you know they had
the English language menu whereas the
one that I is sort of that more
authentic experience where people are
horrible to you and to be honest I don’t
know if I see the value in that I don’t
get why they have to be made they proved
they can be nice and it’s still a good
experience the museums that you picked
were really good as well do you have a
favorite out of the two probably the
chocolate it was just a good a l fun the
chocolate Museum was really good you had
a good day I was very happy with how I
planned my day I think the execution was
good
and I think we would have stood up
against any R day we probably would have
won anyway so today in the Battle of
planned versus Rogue plan
one but that doesn’t mean that we can’t
have a moral Victory I would really like
a chance to finish my half of the day
I’d really like to go to doozledorf it’s
only half an hour away endorsement to
have a beautiful city center They don’t
serve cult there they serve Al beer
which is one of the oldest beers in the
world I’d really like to go there just
push myself to be able to finish my day
