[Music]
[Music]
we’ve been traveling 2 hours now and the
Sun is blaring now so we’ve come from
one extreme to the other it’s red out in
here is it yeah it’s still cloudy out
there though is it you think so yeah
there there a lot of Blue Sky there is
but there’s still a few black clouds so
you could have the OD shower yeah what a
difference Yeah couple of hours down the
road
yeah we’re 10 minutes off our first
night stay and we’re just near the
tunnel we’re not far from the tunnel
this is a a caravan club campsite so
we’re just having one night here uh
so be glad to get there really because
it’s um it’s quter past
4
uh um where we going there
now going left I think yeah yeah I pass
n myself we’ve only had one start so we
set off from Leland and our first stop
was at folkton
well we just arrived to our first
campsite near folkson uh ready for the
channel tunnel tomorrow morning um and
it’s a lovely campsite isn’t it James it
is yeah yeah just not long since arrived
so we had our tea and and and a brw
didn’t we and then we’ve just been sus
out the toilet facilities and again with
the caravan and camping club it’s always
good as usual it’s Caravan and uh mot
home and Caravan Club this one oh is it
the caravan and camping Caravan and
motor home Club site and it’s called
Dale’s acre and it’s very very nice just
n Channel tunnel isn’t it yeah yeah and
um we’re just coming for a walk can’t we
just
to we just sped these aren’t we yeah
yeah nice uh y y and the T over that
side and then further in the distance
things can you see those those are um
they’re like tents or something uh but
you can see
through but uh in the middle there
you’ve got um big um log burner or
something to keep you warm it’s a great
it’s a great thing for
camping uh there’s four of them and then
there’s how many of them is uh 3 6 n of
them I think they three nine of them
this is for the 10th that’s the 10th um
the camping field and they’ve got
the the picnic tables in the middle
they’ve got an entrance there where you
go and I think that’s where all the
tents picture up which is
great
also they’ve all got uh a
deckin place well not deckin but like a
uh Miranda rounds to keep you in your
own space they all got uh chimer and
plastic chairs barbecue
area and they look pretty uh pretty
smart really
these God camping not camping anymore is
it it’s
luxury hang on AE let me just get me
[Music]
right
okay we chose to have a flexi um plus
ticket you pay a bit extra for but you
go in the lounge it’s free food you got
priority getting on and off the train
there’s no rush get on whenever you want
anytime um any day so we’re just going
to come
looks very nice well we love the lounge
and we definitely be doing it again the
flexi plus it’s um great for the food
it’s all free the drinks are free
Starbucks uh
sandwiches cakes Quant all that sort of
stuff and the good thing is with Flexi
plush you can use your ticket any time
of the day there’s no rush and you can
actually move the days so we find it
very good um but it’s a lovely place I I
quite like it have you filled your
bags I think so
yeah uh I think we’re taking some away
with us for uh the next couple of weeks
I think looking at that
lot right we’re just waiting to be
loaded on the train
now which uh we’ve only been here a
couple of minutes we just come out of
that uh flexi lounge and it were great
Wen
it it was it was
brilliant this is the train that we’re
just waiting to get on so shouldn’t be
long
[Music]
now was getting on the train now here we
go
and then in 25 minutes we will be in Cal
GRS can that come off the wind screen
now do you got to keep it on yet no you
got to keep it on love you when you take
it up and you get to C yeah when you get
to the other
side right we’re in France
now we are oh we
yeah we are we in
France well this was the longest part of
the journey we went from folston through
the tunnel down to Luxembourg to our
first stop
overnight this was a camping air it was
only for one night if everything was
completely free including electricity
water emptying your toilet and in your
waste absolutely fantastic I would
definitely do it again you need to get
here early as we found that it was full
when we got
here from Luxembourg this was our final
journey to our first stop for three
nights uh near
colar um it was a bit of a gruer

oo coming out oh another one flipping
out no definitely
not double Bender
yeah well the satav saying we’re only 2
minutes off our very first campsite um
at a place called uh Rick we which is
very near to colar which is going to be
our first stop for maybe three or maybe
four nights is that right James and it’s
just full of um The Vineyards around
this area
all it’s been for quite a few miles full
of
Vineyards okay so it looks like we’re
here at camping d
vard yeah and um kma is actually in the
alash region of France and is again all
the lovely uh Vineyards so it looks like
we’re coming in to the campsite now so
turn right then you will arrive at your
destination hope it’s

European Tour Episode One Leyland to Riquewihr
Hello and thank you for tuning into our channel.
We have set off on our six week tour of France, Nice, Switzerland, Germany “Black Forest Region” and Northern Germany, Gorge de Verdon and other southern areas of France.
We traveled from Leyland to Folkestone, stayed at a caravan and motorhome club site then on to Luxembourg where we stayed overnight on a camping car AIRE, we then traveled down towards Colmar in France onto a campsite at Riquewihr and stayed for 4 nights. We have visited Riquewihr and Ribeauville while making this video.
We have used “what three words” to help you locate the stops accurately in the event you want to tour the same route.
So far the weather has been mixed and what I really mean is plenty of rain, hail, Wind and some sunshine, but cold, around 6-8 degrees.
The places visited are all in a 20 minute radius of Colmar and are Medieval Towns boasting historical buildings etc, all well worth visiting. These are very pretty places of France in the Alsace region, renown for wine making.
I have included some links below to help you research if you are interested.
If you have a motorhome, parking is available in these villages in some car parks.
I hope you will follow us on our journey and find our videos satisfying, interesting and funny in some parts.
Thanks for watching and please subscribe and hit the like button.
