TOKYO DAY TRIP | Kamakura 1-Day Itinerary: how to get there, places to visit, Japan travel tips

welcome back to my channel I am so
excited because today we are heading to
one of my favorite places to visit
whenever I’m in Tokyo and that is
Kamakura and it is south of Tokyo about
an hour away via Jr train I am really
looking forward to today because I’m
actually going to be taking my parents
and also my aunt and uncle down there
for a quick little day trip it’s is just
so convenient to get everywhere they
have the central local train line that
stops at all the main areas that you
would want to go to they are these retro
trains that are beautiful if you’re a
photographer videographer or you just
like seeing pretty things in General you
should come down here because you get
the coastline you get these amazing
trains going across the coast it’s
just I have many videos and photos of
this train line on my Instagram and also
I did a full video on it on my YouTube
channel so I’ll leave a link to that in
the description box below the plan of
attack for today is we are doing a
halfday trip out to Kamakura I guess
it’s a little bit more than a half day
trip but you can get get done in a day
basically so right now it is 7:42 we’re
starting the day off a little bit
earlier today my parents and I are
actually staying in Ginza right now and
my aunt and uncle are in I believe
shabuya yeah shabuya so we are going to
meet them at shinagawa station and then
from shinagawa station head on over to
Kamakura so because of that we just
wanted to give ourselves a little bit of
time I also have a breakfast place in
mind so typically in Japan like things
don’t open until 11:00 :00 I’ve actually
been finding a few more places here and
there that are actually opening earlier
so maybe this is changing but yeah I
found a breakfast spot it opens around
like 900 a.m. which is perfect because I
think we’re going to get there around
like 9:30 10 yeah I’m really excited
I’ve never been to this place so we’re
going to experience this together for
the first time so today’s schedule we’re
actually not riding the train line all
the way down to Fuji Sawa which is what
I did in my other video this itinerary
is very like chill relaxed yeah everyone
travels a bit differently I tend to be
the type of person when I’m with my dad
or by myself and or with friends we tend
to like cram a bunch of stuff in but
with the group that I’m taking around
today I just wanted to keep it like
chill not a lot of stops and like
getting off and on just even though it
is like a more like we’re not going
every single place there is in Kamakura
I feel like the schedule you still get a
feel of the the vibe of the area and
just see some of the main attractions
while also a big thing that my mom and
Randall love to do is shop so we’re
ending in an area where they can just
walk around shop get omag and suers so
that is the plan for today I am very
much looking forward to taking my family
down there to one of my favorite areas
