The fourth day of the trip. The plan for the day has two parts. The first one is arriving safely in Alexandria. The second one is getting to walk around Alexandria to see some of its top sights. Once we walk out from our hotel located right on the corniche, city noise and never ending flow of cars strike us immediately. Crossing the street proves to be a good challenge, as the street signalization is not working due to electricity blackout. Coastal boulevard is full of smiling young people, most of whom are students of Alexandria University. On the other end of the promenade we discover a true pearl, one that cannot be missed while visiting this city, the spectacular Citadel of Qaitbay. Czwarty dzień podróży. Plan dnia składa się z dwóch części. Pierwsza z nich to bezpieczne dotarcie do Aleksandrii. Druga to spacer po Aleksandrii i zobaczenie niektórych z jej najważniejszych atrakcji. Gdy tylko wychodzimy z naszego hotelu położonego tuż przy nadbrzeżnej promenadzie, od razu uderza nas miejski hałas i niekończący się strumień samochodów. Przejście przez ulicę okazuje się nie lada wyzwaniem, gdyż sygnalizacja uliczna nie działa z powodu braku prądu. Bulwar nadmorski jest pełen uśmiechniętych młodych ludzi, z których większość to studenci Uniwersytetu Aleksandryjskiego. Na drugim końcu promenady odkrywamy prawdziwą perłę, której nie można ominąć zwiedzając to miasto, czyli spektakularną Cytadelę Qaitbay. Wirtualny spacer, z polskim komentarzem i sporą dawką humoru 🙂 …
