Fruit Farm is a great spot to check out
while at umaa station and is a must
visit when you’re in Osaka number 11
olaka Castle located not too far away
from huchi fruit farm ulaka Castle is a
beautiful spot to explore and a great
chance to enrich yourself in this City’s
history with Osaka Castle opening at
9:00 in the morning this is the perfect
spot to start out your day as many
places in Japan generally don’t open
until around 10: or 11: in the morning
and while there aren’t that many areas
open as early as this Castle this place
will definitely keep you busy for a
couple of hours at least until when
everything else opens up aside from the
massive 15 acre Park that surrounds the
castle you can explore the temple you’ll
find inside known as hokoku Shrine here
you can pay your respects at The Shrine
watch any side shows going on or enjoy
any of the food stalls that might be
around but of course no visit to this
area is complete without taking photos
of Osaka Castle itself the architecture
of this Majestic structure will Astound
you making you wonder how they were able
to construct the ground’s massive Moes
and the equally impressive Castle
whether you’re a big history buff or
just want to get a cool picture for your
memory book Osaka Castle is a spot you
cannot miss while visiting this city
number 10 Osaka yuno Korea Town located
on the Eastern outskirts of Osaka yuno
Korea Town is is definitely worth the
small Trek for several reasons to start
off iuno Korea Town is full of authentic
and delicious Korean foods you can
choose from Korean style pork drinks
kimchi and several other styles of great
food aside from the vast food selections
to choose from there are also several
different types of shops to check out as
well like many Korean towns this area is
home to a lot of makeup shops and K-pop
idle stores where you can stock up on
coste efficient Cosmetics or even buy
your friends back home a unique Korean
souvenir not only is the store in food
selection large but Osaka’s Korean town
itself is quite extensive as well from
end to end it took us almost an hour to
get to the other side of this massive
Korea Town and that’s not even
considering that we went through this
area at a pretty quick Pace Osaka’s iuno
Korea Town is a great spot many tourists
don’t know about and is a must visit
when you’re in this great City number
nine Osaka aquari K kuuan located near
Universal Studios in Nintendo World
Osaka’s famous aquarium is just as
fascinating to visit but for only a
fraction of the price similar to Osaka
Castle this aquarium is one of the best
ways to start out the day as it opens
well before any other major attractions
in Osaka plus with it being Japan’s
largest aquarium you will spend at least
1 or 2 hours traversing your way through
the several floors of the different
exhibits giving you plenty of time to
check out the aquarium until other shops
open throughout the city here you can
observe the hundreds of aquatic species
like dolphins seals sharks and even see
Penguins up close and personal what also
makes this aquarium so special are the
two massive whale sharks that you can
find roaming the main tank this aquarium
also offers the perfect opportunity to
take your special someone on a nice date
as there are some very nice seats at
certain areas throughout the aquarium
allowing you to sit down and enjoy the
views Osaka aquarium Kiku on is one of
the best attractions you can explore and
is a great spot to put on your list when
you visit Osaka number eight aam mura
known as the trendy District of Osaka a
med kamuda is a fun and quirky area to
check out for many reasons although this
spot is a little hidden you’ll quickly
know you found a meta kamuda when you
hear the ’90s rap music blaring from all
the open air shops not to mention the
massive mural that is taking up the wall
of a multi-story building at a medic
Kamura you can explore all the different
vintage and fashion shops where you can
pick up some nice clothes to take home
for cheap and as you make your way
deeper into this District you’ll find
the main attraction of AA kamuda and
that would be the big step shopping mall
inside this area’s Premier Mall you can
find one of the biggest and most diverse
vintage shops I have ever seen known as
kingi used clothing we found a ton of
different types of apparel and clothes
that were an absolute bargain here not
only are the bargain clothes a great
reason to check out big step but its
retro pinball arcade center is a true
spectacle to see as well you can
experience true Nostalgia with some of
these pinball machines being a real
blast from the past or you can even play
some of the more modern themed machines
too Amed kamuda is a trly unique site to
see and is a place you should definitely
check out when you’re in Osaka number
seven denden Town much like Tokyo’s
akata denden town is Osaka’s electronics
and gaming Mecca at denden town you can
check out all the different quirky shops
that are open for business you can
explore Osaka’s own mandarake which is
home to hundreds of retro toy models and
trading cards right across the way from
mandarake is Anime Osaka which has
various types of anime themed
merchandise inside and similarly to
ibukuro they also have a mix of Cosplay
shops in denden town as well with plenty
of different props and other cosplay
items to buy whether Osaka is your first
or last City to visit on your trip to
Japan be sure to check out denden town
to take home some fascinating Japanese
souvenirs number six umeda Sky building
umeda Sky building is a truly
fascinating place to visit because of
both its stunning architecture and
unique Skyline views it has to offer as
you approach the building you’ll be
amazed as you stare up at the massive
structure and if you look close enough
you’ll notice as peculiar pillars
sticking out in the middle and if you
are curious what those pillars are well
you can easily find out by heading to
the top yourself that’s right this
building isn’t only a remarkable spot
because of its design but also because
you can head to the top and see Osaka’s
Skyline View and all its Glory getting
to AA Sky buildings Observatory is
simple just head inside and follow the
signs to the elevators and start making
your way to the top the first really
cool site at Oma’s Observatory will also
answer the question of what exactly
those pillars are as you approach the
main escalators to finish your Trek to
the top these escalators alone are worth
the trip giving you a view that
resembles something out of a work of art
and offers a picture perfect view once
you’re at the top and pay your entry fee
you can walk around umida Sky’s
impressive intersection of the
observatory once you’re ready to check
out the main event you can head to the
very top and walk around Oma Sky’s
fascinating rooftop Observatory umida
Sky rooftop is very similar to Shibuya
Sky giving you a clear and perfect view
of the city down below umida sky
building is a perfect spot for some
breathtaking views and is a must visit
when you go to Osaka number five dooni
of course no trip to Osaka would be
complete without visiting the famous
dolami district doodi is renowned for
its vibrant shopping centers restaurants
and of course its nightlife aside from
the massive Canal that gives doodi its
iconic look you’ll know you found the
heart of this District when you see the
iconic gleo man cheering your arrival to
one of the most exciting places in Osaka
at the main strip of doodi you can
sample all sorts of different foods
whether it be Kushi KATU takoyaki and
many more styles of iconic Osaka foods
and once you’ve had your fill of all of
this great food you can pick out any of
the bars or clubs throughout the area
and party the night away as you head out
of the center you can find the equally
famous doguyasuji street just to the
South which is host to food display
stores and iconic Japanese Cutlery and
as crazy as it might look you can even
buy a katana at this shopping area if
you’re willing to foot the expensive
bill for it though and this is only a
sample of all of the different shops
restaurants and attractions that await
you here at dolori number four shinsekai
new world Shin Sakai or translated to
mean new world is almost like Dori but
with his own unique twist as you first
make your way into Shin Sakai you’ll be
met with a shopping street looking very
similar to what donon bod alleys look
like however as soon as you pass those
first few stores you’ll notice the
difference as you can clear clearly see
people having a blast doing target
practice with bows and arrows and this
Japanese carnival game is only the
beginning of what shein Sakai has to
offer as you continue to make your way
into the heart of this area you’ll find
only more and more great carnival games
that await you on every side here you
can partake in some truly entertaining
games from bow and arrow target practice
to shooting fake rifles and even
throwing shuin as hard as you can not
only do they have carnival games but
just like a Med kamuda shinai has its
own retro arcade room filled with dozens
of old video games that are sure to give
you a nostalgic blast from the past and
after working up a massive sweat playing
all of these great games make sure you
stop by kushikatsu oi an amazing
restaurant that serves up some of the
best fried shrimp I have ever had
shinsekai is full of surprises and is
sure to give you some Unforgettable
memories when you visit Osaka number
three team lab Botanical Garden team lab
Botanical Garden is one of the best
spots to visit when Osaka goes dark once
the sun goes down this iconic tourist
attraction lights up as the park becomes
illuminated with all the dazzling sites
team lab Botanical Garden has to offer
getting in is pretty easy all you need
to do is book your own ticket at their
website which I provided in the
description below once you’re done with
that simply head to nagai park around
the time you’re scheduled to enter
follow the signs for team Labs botanical
garden and then head inside once you’re
there you can take in the dazzling
sights and sounds that immediately greet
you upon entering as you continue to
make your way inside you’ll find one of
the most iconic parts of botanical
garden with the vibrant egg-shaped
statues scattered throughout this
magical forest after you’re done taking
all the photos you can of this vibrantly
bright egg Forest you can head on to the
equally photogenic spot with an
inflatable balloon maze appearing right
before your eyes this balloon maze is
more interactive than the egg Forest as
well as you can bump and push your way
through all the balloons to the other
side and these areas are just a few of
the great things that await you at Team
lab’s Botanical Garden number two
kudamon ichiba Market this Market is
definitely one of the best experiences
for both food and Adventure when you’re
in Osaka located just off to the Eastern
edge of doni you’ll be able to find
dozens of different restaurants and
street foods to indulge in known for its
fantastic Seafood you can sample all the

the only specialty at kudamon ichiba
Market either as you can sample some

number one unique spot in Osaka number
one henji Yoko and other hidden yoka

one of the best things you can do while
you’re visiting Osaka as it perfectly
balances the excitement the city is
known for but is also still off the
beaten path for many casual tourists a
yokoo which trans translates to Alley in
English is exactly what the translation
means as yoka chos are back alleys in
side streets that are full of different
bars and hidden restaurants to enjoy you
can get lost inside any of Osaka’s
fantastic yoka chos and sampled the
foods drinks and the fun times all the
while being one of the only tourists in
the area but don’t worry if you were

you’re about to get the inside scoop of
where some of these yoka chos are one of
the most well-known yoka chos in is
henji Yoko which is a maze of Alleyways

Finally a list of lesser known places in Osaka! Wished i had this last year because we only went to dontobori and was so bored 😅 Definitely will use this in the summer! Thanks!
I like that food market in Kyoto
We did many of those on our recent trip, but you've listed some extras for our next trip. It was cool to meet you both at the aquarium! Keep up the destination type content!
8:10 holy shht i thought there was a titan overlooking the building
Great video and recommendations. Osaka is enjoyable but I use it has a hub for day trips to Nara and Kobe when I visit. Used to be Kyoto but it has become an so so place. We find the teamLab botanical garden underwhelming as having winter illumination around the city made the attraction less special because it's just lights.
Perfect timing! Heading to Osaka tomorrow…thanks.
I dont live too far from Osaka, but i rarely go there so ima definitely check out some spots
I’m so excited, we went for our first time last year for our honeymoon. We fell in love with the country and are going back this year
I heard that Osaka will be hosting the World Expo 2025. I am planning to visit Osaka for the first time, and also the World Expo. Please post information regarding the World Expo 2025 when the time comes. Your Vlogs are super AWESOME! Thank you very much for your hard work and please keep up your great work on your Japan Vlog channel.👏👏👏👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
I have a question that I hope that you can help me with? Back in 1972 my family and I was living at 2-1-21 Suehiro Cho Toyonaka Chi. Are you able to let me know if this mall is still available I remember going underground to the mall and there was a lift behind this water fall. I remember there was a German restaurant called The Rosenkeller. Unfortunately I can’t remember anymore I was only seven at the time. I wish that I could remember the name of the mall.
kaiyukan not kaikuyan
Is it easy to get to osaka from shibuya?
Okinami🌊🌊🌊
Is a yen note still okay to be used if it gets wet?
I really enjoy this video. Thanks very much.
Osaka Aquarium is called Kaiyukan actually. cheers
Check out 8:09 looks like titans are coming to attack the city
Thank you for the information!❤
Thanks for the info. Not that " unique ", but useful so thanks.
hmmm …. I think Nakanoshima Museum of Art is extremely good. Osaka Castle has been destroyed so many times so it is kind of boring but if you use the stairs at nearby history museum there are really good views of it. Tsuyunoten Shrine is so tiny but so culturally important … to me it's a sad place but young lovers always go here …
One of best things to do in Osaka is join a meetup. There’s locals who love meeting and speaking English with foreigners.
Hey mate, what camera have you used here? planning to save one for our travel to japan. Mostly taking videos and photos with the family. I guess my iphone will do however I will be using that for maps and google translate hehe
great video! just didn't like the aquarium suggestion 🙁
Is there many diecast model car collecting shops in Osaka?
I know there should be loads but I'm finding it difficult to locate them or make a map for them.
Love these videos (where you talk about unique things to do), can you do one for Kyoto??
Are there the same risks/scams in Osaka as in Tokyo to look out for?
I'm going to Osaka this June so this helps me what to do
Hello all! I was wondering if it is practical to do day trips to Osaka from Kyoto? Meaning, if my wife and I had the appropriate rail cards and used the right transportation methods would it then be practical to stay in a hotel in Kyoto and train to Osaka for a couple of day trips? Thank you for your time!
Thanks for all the great videos! We’re getting ready to go next month, April to Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto. And find all of your videos very helpful! I noticed that at your background you have some animes on the shelf! My boys and I are into Anime!! Wondering if you could tell me where to find an inexpensive Hachinage head band. Would greatly appreciate it if you could direct me to the right place! 🥰
Thank you for the tips. I am going in 2 days. Super excited!!!
Been to Tokyo Kyoto and Hiroshima going to Osaka in may . CAN'T WAIT !!!!!
This my 1st time going to Osaka together with my son on the coming June. Will like ti know what travel card I need to travel around Osaka? There are so many different train companies. Can one can use on all the different trains and buses? Which card do I need?
What an amazing video. You are amazing thank you x
get new footage please
