right well we just arrived at eggan is

drizzly we’re going to walk into the

right we stopped here uh we’re in a cafe
and we just had a nice um coffee um a
grand coffee
milk I don’t know the
FR um but it’s a
lovely so just trying to get B warm put
it
freezing being on the bank but we’re
going to carry on having a walking
around and we’re going to go into the
center and have some lunch here uh like
we did yesterday in the other place so
anyway we’ll keep you informed

well we’re going for a walk into the
town which is
about I just short of a mile into a
keter what it’s 1 kmet so it’s about 7
of a mile yeah um so we’re going into
town we’re going to have a look around
it might all be closed by now but we’re
stretching our legs we would been in the
bloody van for two
days um yeah the weather’s nice and
sunny it’s warmed up a bit now but it
has been a cold
day um and this is like the middle of
April
2024 so we’ve had a lot of rain it does
seem like it’s been it’s all over is it
though yeah it’s not just Ste no no so
oh that thing that we saw line oh yeah
yeah that tell that I don’t know if it’s
a bar or it’s a hotel or
what we’ll have a look when we come back

I’m sure it’s a different atmosphere
when it’s all nice and oh God warm

you so we was on our way we drove from
colar RE reille to
tit uh right on the lake
think we’ll have some walk into town
especially in this
James just getting quite close now to
the campsite and let’s hope and pray
they’ve got us they’ve got a pitch for
us I hope so

God this is been freezing this is day
two well we arrived yesterday so this is
our first main day but as you know we
came into town last night um and it was
cold but God it’s cold this morning I
got
picking I got pissing Jew drops
coming from in the right minger but it
was absolutely thick with snow when we
arrived on the campsite and he said go
and pick a go and pick a picture we
couldn’t see any for snow we couldn’t
see any pictures and I thought where are
we going to drive here anyway we bumped
into uh a lovely couple and they do
their own uh YouTube and they called
um what field view Field view Adventure
yeah so look them up uh cuz they’re
they’re they live in a van and they’re
traveling all over and and actually
they’re going to Switzerland from here
we’re going Switzerland actually from
here so uh whether we bump into them
again I don’t know they gave us a few
pointers didn’t they they give us a few
pointers yeah so again the snow cleared
up after about 2 and 1 half hours of
arriving here didn’t it yeah and then it
went absolutely gone gous still a bit
cold but it was
clear clear blue sky we even sat outside
the
bar yeah that was the difference yeah
and then we woke up this morning it’s
sleeting well it started snowing again
last night when we was going to bed yeah
it did um and we just closed the blinds
up oh well was see how would go on I was
lovely and warm in bed I’ve not had any
problems with the no I haven’t with the
bed light you
know hello uh so it’s been lovely and
warm in the
bed um and then this morning we put the
um we put the eating on well the eating
comes on on its own in the morning after
got it set and um not sniffing okay I’ve
got DW drops they just coming out my n
my brain got some lovely we Ed crant
didn’t we oh yeah we order some bread
pumpkin rolls so we ordered that
yesterday we picked them up this morning
yeah they look were huge weren’t they so
we had a bit of butter and jam on them
for a bit of a
treat yeah so we’re going to go into
town now we we’re going to go into town
again and we’re going to have a proper
look around everything will be open yeah
and we’re going to jump in a restaurant
for lunch nice hot lunch yeah and then
we’ll end back later on uh I don’t know
what we’re going to do tomorrow yet so
we’ll keep you
posted okay so this is a a chocolate
lure with cherry with cherry water with
cherry water cold it’s better cold than
better cold thank
you o That’s
nice we could get some of that okay yeah
do you want a little bottle yeah yeah we
get um that’s the chocolate one there
very nice next should we have one of
them which one this is the chocolate one
what we’ve just had right get that one
and get one of them want the vanilla

don’t know I’m going to

okay right we just called in this hotel
Haven we and tomorrow we’re having a spa
spa day Fray massage and all that so
we’ll see how we’re going that’ll warm
us
up um but we’re going to hopefully have
a curry aren’t we um no what is it
cauliflower yeah so we’re just trying to
get warm now so we’ll see how we
go this is

yeah that would have been last night
when it warmed up it can’t be melting at
the moment though can it no it’s
tooold must have been must have been
when the sun was out last night last
night yeah it was melted and now it’s
froze by

Welcome to our European Tour 2024

Titisee Lake Germany

Oh My God! Talk about weather change, after a few days site seeing around Colmar we headed off about one and half hours towards Titisee lake. The snow came down more and more as we neared our campsite destination. We arrived and the snow was a foot deep, we couldn’t even see the roads or camp spaces.

We settled in after several minutes sorting everything out, went to view the toilets, showers and washing up facilities and to our amazement, they were spot on, all heated and very clean.

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every bit of it, we looked around Titisee town and had lunch in the nearby hotel and booked the following day to have a spa day including a massage. We arrived for our pamper day, was given a walk around and shown where to go. The sauna didn’t come on until 1.30pm we found out, I had to go to reception twice, once to ask for shoes to walk about as it was very slippy on the tiles and again to ask how things work because all instructions were in German. We had a lovely swim in the pool and the doors opens automatically and you could swim outside, bit cool for us even though the pool was heated, went over to the sauna area behind another door, we were just putting our stuff down and Oh My God! A fella with his brockwurst swinging walked past, Kay’s eyes were hanging out of her head, then a group of women came out of the sauna starkers, udders everywhere it was like Jeremy Clarksons farm. 😂😂😂

After our shock we walked back to the van. We met some van lifers (Field View Adventures) they were a lovely couple and their son, give us some tips and advice to our next stop. The next day we headed off to our camp.
