The most exciting part of Carnival (Apokries) is the big parades with huge floats and colourful groups of people marching through the streets. These parades are a feast for the eyes, with bright colours, amazing performances, and a happy atmosphere.

I joined the carnival in Zakynthos dressed as a Barbie as each neighbourhood had different theme for costumes! Wojtek was meant to be my Ken, but he had to fly to UK.
