Bloqués à la frontière du Maroc !
No one is correct on the scale. So far the only people I spoke with didn’t speak French Chefchaouen, the blue city! why is it painted blue? very good question today it’s our first awakening first awakening in Morocco we were really tired yesterday the departure of our boat was at 2:30 p.m. finally I think we didn’t leave before 3 p.m. 3-3:30 p.m. and we left the Harbour at 10 p.m. for a crossing that should last about 01:30 I think because firstly the boat is already late we arrived in Morocco around 5:30 p.m. And there are still problems with our VISA I asked for 60 days they gave me only 15 days before the end of the validity of the visa we have to go in a city to the police station and from there they should be able to give us an extension this really bothers us Past the disappointment of having only received 15 days we left towards the customs control of the vehicle and there… columns of cars with fully-packed cars I believe that they can all go to Norauto (garage brand) to change their suspension after that there is everything that is… all the suspensions are *down* all cars are there… *suffering* they suffer! Poor them and on the roof too well yes but it’s super hyper loaded everyone is overweight There is no one who is correct on the scale They really check the cars that have these big loads They open all the small bags They take everything off, they ask them to put everything on the ground and a dog comes to smell if there are drugs ah you have to imagine if you press the trunk button , the trunk almost jumps in your face! so much that it’s loaded Afterwards you have to put everything back in There is a gentleman, I think there is a very large bag, I don’t know what’s in it, fabric or something like that When he takes it out , he broke everything When they tried to put it back in, the whole car moved they tried to force it in They almost had to work in pairs to put it back in with shoulder taps it was entertaining we’ll say it made us pass the time while we were waiting to watch a little bit of this whole circus It’s like watching a documentary channel really yeah afterwards they take our papers so the driver’s passport and the registration document yeah so there there is a policeman who takes this who leaves with it and then after 5-10 minutes there is another policeman who tells us ah park there in front we parked a little further away we thought that it would be to do a more thorough search of the vehicle In the end we saw that all the foreigners with camper vans put them like that on the side and then it lasted it lasted it lasted at least 30 minutes eh I went see at the office to try to put a little pressure there and then I saw my passport which was placed to the left of the computer and the lady who was passing all the other passports which arrived but in fact it turns out that with mine she tried to pass it 3 or 4 times There were three people at the computer staring and then suddenly there was one who came and said: "I have to get the chassis number" to explain to you what the problem really is, you can forget, it’s the minimum amount of information possible just to tell you "you have to wait, we’ll solve the problem" "you have to wait " Wait wait wait We had been parked there for almost an hour. They asked for Birdy’s passport, it worked, it’s my car. now even if I wanted to drive, I mean stay longer in Morocco than Birdy, I could not, because I drive her car Once that was done I think they didn’t want to bother us anymore anymore they didn’t even ask if we had a drone (banned in Morocco) or something like that nothing controlled nothing asked, not asked to open the door, nothing They just gave the papers we went back to the car and then we were able to get out we started driving towards the South now it’s called uh *Tantoine * here this city we are going to tell you that with precision ah yes because we don’t have internet now we haven’t yet bought a SIM card back to the paper "Tetouan" we didn’t really know where to park Generally, especially in the northern part when we go wild camping we can find ourselves facing the police who ask us to follow them and then park at their place we will anticipate we will try to find a police station and then park right next to them like that way we don’t have to get up in the middle of the night, no need to wake up And then like that we too will feel safer given that it’s the first night, that we arrived at night we can’t see the environment and then you know why we closed the windows? we would have liked to share with you the landscape of Tetouan, which from what we have seen so far seems to be a super clean city we saw this large square at the side of the road with the playgrounds for miles it’s really big and clean really really clean it’s even cleaner than in France it must be said If we only see that, we can think that it’s a developed country Morocco is a developed country so we can’t say that it’s a developed country, we can’t say that ok we cut, we cut! But this morning, when we ate breakfast Here, exactly here, the same place The shutter was open, the window open there were 2 children who arrived who tried to sell us fabrics, packets of handkerchiefs It’s the first time we see this we don’t know what we can do They ask for money of course We say "no no no" but they stayed nearby they stay 5 minutes a good 5 minutes, I think it’s it’s not that we can’t pay but it’s not a good education to give If we give like that afterwards they will think it’s normal that’s why we try to avoid but in the end… they stay 5 minutes, 10 minutes here I pretended to read, but I couldn’t read but at the end I gave two candies like that they left they are happy and 5 minutes later two more arrived, younger and smaller They are really cute but suddenly we said to ourselves we’re going to close the windows we’re going to close the shutters so that it doesn’t bother us when we take the videos as there is no next group who will come And then another thing that I was relatively surprised about, is that I thought it will be relatively easy in Morocco because they speak at least I thought they speak French and Arabic but so far the only people I’ve talked to, they did not speak French at customs yes yes at customs, everyone spoke in French from the moment we got out, we stopped at the toll booth, we couldn’t make ourselves understood at the gas pump they didn’t understand, neither in French nor in English that means we need to learn a minimum of Arabic because it’s in their country it’s normal they don’t speak (French) it’s a bit the surprise for us, that’s all I thought now that it was instilled at school, the 2 languages Arabic and then French I thought it was a bit like in Lebanon that there are 2 languages which are learned at school but I don’t know maybe it depends on the regions also I saw that here it is more Hispanophile so it is perhaps closer to Spain the person I spoke with yesterday to ask if we can park here he seemed to be able to speak Spanish better than French or English oh yeah yeah the next day after buying a sim card we continued south towards Chefchaouen we bought one Maroc Télécom card because it is the network with the best coverage it is very easy to find recharges and the cost is 10 dirhams or €1 for 1 gigabyte of internet Chefchaouen is an essential city when visiting Morocco rightly nicknamed the blue town ah yes and if you come to Morocco you absolutely have to taste pomegranates we have never eaten such good ones before so for the first stage of discovering Morocco we stopped at Chefchaouen it is a village the whole village is known for the walls painted blue yeah the ground is covered in blue the walls of the houses are covered in blue why is it painted blue? very good question Because in the 15th century it is difficult in French! because in the 15th century because in the 15th century there were a lot of Jews who come from Spain at the time there was a war or something like that and they came to this village because this village is hidden in the mountain it’s on the mountain The color blue is the favorite color of the Jews if they paint in that color the god will protect them ok so it has a religious meaning then And because it reminds them paradise too yeah it’s true it’s a little place of paradise you’re hungry so hungry! we are at the restaurant this is the starter it is a vegetable soup. Potatoes Zucchini , eggplant Mint tea we ordered the chicken lemon and meat with vegetables it’s tagine soup it’s the same spice they use in the tagine, but I don’t know exactly what it is the next episode will be a cultural shock for us we’ll let you discover it next week to support our channel if it’s already done subscribe activate the notification 1 like it’s always nice with 1 little comment until the next time

Bonne route 😉
