From Crêpes To Pizza: A Culinary Journey Through France, Italy, And Switzerland in One Day

[Music] so good morning this is day one of being here in Switzerland we arrived yesterday and right now we’re visiting the lint uh chocolate Museum so we have a quick about 30 minutes to be here so we’re going to just try to see what we can do as much for free without having to pay till to go to the entire tour so over here first of all we sold the chocolate fountain right there that is so beautiful and then here they also have a lot of Christmas stuff going on they have decor ation already so we’re going to show you this and again this is Switzerland video I’m not sure how much we’re going to be recording while we’re here in Switzerland we’re going to spend about 3 to 4 days again here in Switzerland so again if you’re new to our Channel subscribe to our Channel and then make sure is the first stop on our tour next pict so from what we can gather if you want to visit this place you have to pay and I think it’s 15 for adults uh and then for children is half of the price uh but again it’s a cool thing to try to see but you also can do a lot of free stuff like we’re doing right now we’re here at the actual their uh store that they have and you can actually buy um some of the chocolate that they’re making and they actually a place where they’re cutting it and you can see uh there’s a lot of stuff that is happening uh that you can visit here for free and you can spend maybe about 20 30 minutes to do the free stuff uh which includes a cinema time for you to watch the video but other than that I think uh it’s pretty cool place to Che to check out if you’re here in zorich um again just continue to watch and see how we spend our time in zor area [Music] don’t [Music] [Music] [Music] so from here if you look over there that’s the mountains showing up over there this is why we love Switzerland cuz you can see the beautiful views from from everywhere else we’re now visiting one of the castles here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] e [Music] right now we are in the top of the church the cathedral and now we can see the city on the bottom there this is loan and then over there you can see the mountain on the other side so we still got more to go up there so we’re visiting around made as you can see beautiful views of the city right now so as you can see it’s a beautiful sunny day it was a little bit drizzly but now it’s beautiful you can see the beautiful town of loan here in Switzerland now we’ve been to Geneva and we’ve done Zurich so on this specific trip here we’re not doing a lot of big city but instead we’re visiting other smaller cities and smaller town here in Switzerland we’re not recording a whole lot because most important uh part of this trip is really spending time with family so we’re really avoiding having camera around all the time but we wanted to give you guys just an overview of how beautiful uh this country is and why we love it and why is this why is a number one uh place to visit in our list it really is it’s number one place uh in our list because it’s just a beautiful country um but one thing I want to mention is that Switzerland is also super expensive so it’s not as affordable as other places uh in Europe uh but if you have to visit it because of the beauty and just the views and the mountains all that scenic view um then you have to prepare to also uh spend a lot of money so uh look anywhere to spend uh Hotel nights anywhere between $100 to $400 a night uh and then food you can spend anywhere between I’ll say4 to $70 uh per person uh per day on meals um transportation is reasonable you can take trains and buses uh everywhere you go but other than that uh it is a very expensive country we’re not going to lie about that and the other question here to show real quick so we are here this is Switzerland right on the other side of the mountain that’s actually France so two countries divided by the lake so on the other side is France so the other side or should I say that side on the other side is France this side here is Switzerland so that’s how easy it is for you to actually go from country to [Music] Country ddy what’s in [Music] here see what so we just came from the cathedral up there and went to the top to see the entire views of the city and now we’re going to go trying to see if we can see other places uh such as the Olympic Museum and the other uh castle that they have so quick uh question how do we uh get around or how do we communicate here while we’re in Switzerland so Switzerland is a country that speaks I think if I’m not mistaken four languages so they have uh German or swiss German they have French they have HH and they have Italian so on the region in which we are right now it is a French region so we are communicating in French yes if you did not know I do speak French my wife speaks French uh children don’t but we do speak French so it makes it easier for us to be able to uh communicate where we are uh on the German side of things I do not speak German fully but I understand German so I communicate in the in German for the people uh on the side of German side and then on the Italian side when we will go there we’ll communicate in Italian I do understand Italian even though I don’t speak perfectly but I do understand and I can communicate my way out of there so it is always good to learn at least some of the phrases uh of places where you are and being able to communicate to the locals okay it’s really offensive to assume that everybody speaks English where you’re going so it is good to try to learn at least some of the phrases to say how are you doing for example here in the side of French side when you see somebody everybody say bonjour bonjour you say bonjour is a way to say Hi how are you and then from there you can communicate with them and ask them the question that you have uh so at least saying that doing that part of attempt of uh communicating in the beginning with them you can be able to break the ice and then uh they’ll be able to help you so just learn a couple of phrases and you can learn how to communicate with people so that’s how we communicate and that’s how we get around here and we’ve also rented a car so we’re driving mostly in Switzerland uh but my hope is the next time we come we’ll be able to actually use more public transport like we did when we were in London we are now in the city of montre or montre and we’re going to be uh visiting this Castle behind me I’m not sure if we are not sure if we’ll be able to do so but we’ll try to at least visit the castle behind me and you can see the beautiful views again of the mountains right behind us and uh yeah just enjoying the rest of our day or rest of our time week here in Switzerland so let’s go see what this Castle has to offer I’m talking more about I think we just missed uh the cut off time to visit the museum or to visit the castle the last time to see this is 400 p.m. and we’re already uh just 2 minutes past the 400 p.m. Mark so unfortunately we’re not going to be able to go inside [Music] so unfortunately we’re not able to go inside there but we’re able to capture some amazing drwn footage and I’m actually going to put it here for you to see so great views of the mountain great views of the castle downside we were able to go inside next time we’ll plan ahead of time come here early and be able to go inside the [Music] castle right now we are in the Night Market of Monto which is the Christmas Market they’re just walking around and seeing a lot of stores what they’re selling for Christmas time so it’s beautiful place to come and hang out so yeah that’s what we’re are currently doing [Music] [Music] [Music] so daddy my not well good morning it’s a beautiful day today today is one of our last days here in Switzerland I’m here with the military gear cuz we’re about to go fight just kidding this is a quest because Europe is such a beautiful continent and is its proximity to each neighboring country allows you to be able to do our Quest today so today we’re going to be having breakfast in France lunch in Italy and dinner in Switzerland why because it’s so close to each other so stick around as we explore this beautiful continent today and be able to see three countries in one day let’s go we have I have my helpers in the back there who are excited AB El Samuel and somebody who’s not excited about this Quest need some coffee but anyways [Music] [Music] oh oh [Music] find it mhm waterfall so right now we’re taking a quick break we’re right here by the highway side just because we’ve been driving for about an hour and a half as you can see in the back there there’s some beautiful views and this is why we love Switzerland so much oh yeah we’re about to start adventure this is going to be fun are we friend not yet but it will be [Music] soon yeah Mommy’s going to be my whole time we go up [Music] there yep good look at the Town bottom there oh my goodness isn’t that so beautiful that that town looks like Africa it looks like Africa wow [Music] I love this are your ears popping oh there’s a truck coming up there let’s not meet this truck on this curve look how beautiful is feel good [Music] [Music] we’ve now made another peep stop and as we can see in the bottom there there’s a town and we’re going up so we’re going to be going even higher than where we are right now but you can see the beautiful Town bottom there and we’re up here by the restaurant area we’re still in Switzerland but our goal is to go to France and then from France to Italy [Music] this is not a picture this is a video of us showing you the background and ASO yes [Music] [Applause] [Music] I see Tre with snow yeah we’re up top where the snow we not [Music] even get it get it no snow people Liv in the mountain y guys it’s so dangerous to drive there drive here cuz you’re just really literally in this tiny little road and this is going to keep happening all the way till we’re at the top and we’re going up [Music] there still see the snow don’t beautiful [Music] down there we go you’re about to be impressed something to this is the border between France and Switzerland we’ve now entered France so CU about an hour and a half now we’re in friends we’re going to shamoni we’re going to have breakfast there then we’re going to make our way to Italy so part one [Music] completed yes sir almost there how many minutes I second only about 15 minutes [Music] all right so right now we’ve arrived in shamoni uh or I mean shamoni Mo Blanc which is basically the town area and we’re going to be looking at some restaurants get some food and then enjoying our time here while we’re in France again we just here quickly for about 1 hour maybe most but the goal here is trying to get breakfast here in France and then have lunch in Italy and then get back in time in Switzerland for dinner [Music] so right now we are in shamoni as you can see it just has amazing views so from there you can see the mountains from the back here you see the mountain and again from over there you can see the mountains like mountains everywhere even from there like everywhere here you have the views of the mountain so we are now in quest to find breakfast place we’ll see where we’ll be able to grab some food right now while we’re in France guys this is so beautiful this place it is so beautiful I’m telling you super beautiful and this is why we love coming to shamoni we’ve been here I think this is our fourth time here so [Music] beautiful so we found a place for us to eat and we are here in the restaurant called Josephine or La Gazette Josephine so over here we’re going to be actually having breakfast the kids were able to find what they’re looking for which is cup and I’m about to have some coffee and some great omelet so let’s go excited so we’ve done it so we’re now here we got our food we’re about to eat our breakfast while we’re here in France so this is [Music] happening so we just finished having breakfast here now and uh we’re going to make our way to Italy where we’re going to be trying to have lunch over there [Music] so right now we can see the moon Blanc right behind me so it starts off from that side and that side is right by it and you can see the moon Blanc over there it’s super tall and beautiful uh so right now one thing we also found out is that it’s actually low season here uh so the skiers are not going to be here um until probably December uh that’s when it starts actually the the high season uh for the resort here so this town will be packed with a lot of uh skiers coming down here to ski so it’s one of the best place to actually ski in Europe uh here in mon Blanc and the thing is they have uh the lifts on this side here they also have the lifts on that side here so you can choose which side uh for you to actually go and ski on so someday Samy and I will come by and give it a try and get some uh of our skis over here or while he actually snow boards [Music] [Music] keep left at the [Music] fork we are now in Italy we’re now in Italy [Music] man [Music] so we just made it to our destination here in Italy we are in Torino or Torino and uh we’re going to be exploring a little bit and then getting some food uh which is really was a quest for us today initially we wanted to do breakfast in France which we did but it was a little bit late around 11:00 and then we had a plan to have lunch here however getting here a lot of places close the havea around 2:00 2:30 uh and they don’t reopen restaurants until 3:00 p.m. so uh there’s a dilemma whether we stay or stick around or get some uh Street Pizza something like that before we actually make our way back to Switzerland cuz we do have to go back to Switzerland today so we’ll see if we can find a place a restaurant where we can go and if we do then we’re definitely going to be having our point of having three meals in three separate countries let’s see [Music] so again right now we’re just walking around toino and trying to see some places we’re not going to be able to visit everything again this was not to come to Italy to visit this is literally just coming here to uh get some food and enjoy our time here in Italy you got me I [Music] [Music] there’s a lot to see here in Torino um I think if I was to be here visit I think if I was to be here visit I’ll probably spend uh one week just to be able to see everything um it’s beautiful and uh as far as fashion fashion exists like a lot of high-end stores and it’s just pretty cool to see [Music] [Music] [Music] we were not able to get our food here because all the restaurants are closed so we get gelato and coffee and everything else so this is good so far so good super good so at least this is not all lost it’s a win we’re still able to get some food here in Italy and we’re able to actually enjoy our time here in Italy so we’re still able to see three countries in one day again we did not get our lunch in Italy but instead we’re getting dinner in Italy uh we stayed a little longer and we’ll be heading back to Switzerland shortly [Music] [Music] [Music] everything you’re going to come up SN it’s beautiful oh my goodness this is so beautiful can we come [Music] out it’s snowing y’ it’s snowing good morning we are today in the city of B in burn the capital of Switzerland we’re visiting it right now we’re in the main square area we’re going to be spending a few hours here to just get to visit this beautiful capital of Switzerland so I hope you stay with us and enjoy this day uh this Vlog of today but first we got to go find [Music] coffee it’s not that cold today it’s not super super cold but it’s still a chilly day chilly and rainy day [Music] we coming [Music] so right now we are in Zurich and then right by the lake area and we’re seeing we’ve seen just the sunset and now we’re just enjoying our time here right now so and they actually have a market behind here which is a Christmas Market and we’re going to check it out and we’ll walk a little bit and then we’ll find dinner and then it’s a wrap time for us to get ready to go home [Music] [Music] 21 you down [Music] one up here [Music] so one thing we love about Zurich is that it has this beautiful architecture it’s just amazing like all the houses together uh it just looks beautiful so this is why we love visiting Zurich when we come here just because of the beautiful architecture that it has just the beauty that this city has to offer and the ambience the atmosphere The Vibes
