[Music] [Applause] la [Applause] well here we are at the main station in venan matter of fact it’s the only station in venan and this is where passengers get off from the village of LeRon here to visit this Village or they can continue on up to the kle shidik station which is obviously the station that we’ve uh modeled uh for our railroad back in the States and from there that top station you can then change trains and continue on up to jungak which is considered or called the top of Europe it’s the highest rail station in all of Europe quite spectacular up there it’s built on top of a Mountaintop and surrounded by glaciers so if you ever get a chance and you’re in this region you certainly want to stop by and take the trains all the way up to the top of Europe [Applause] [Music] [Music] well what is so nice about ban is is that there are so many things that you can do here all year around we’re here now the um this is the the end of of March and we were able to go skiing up on the young prow region and then we also went mountain biking um across the valley here we look down into the L burning Valley and across that Valley is the village of Miran and you can take uh a cable car uh Tramway up to uh the little train station and then the train station takes you a little train over to the little village of Mir and there’s fantastic skiing there uh there’s over 70 waterfalls in this Valley um most of them are um quite significant and spectacular and then on the other side of the mountain is uh the village of grind dealt and the area of Adventure first or which is um really a kind of a mountain playground with alpine slides and zip lines and things like that so there’s lots and lots of things to do here all year round so if you ever get a chance to come and visit this beautiful Village and region you certainly should take advantage of that [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] w [Music] m oh [Music] w [Music] you [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Applause] a [Music] a [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music]
In this series, we embark on a journey from Reno to Switzerland, Germany and Amsterdam. We will experience the breathtaking Swiss Cog trains and see the world’s largest model railroad.
Episode 3 begins with a trip from Wengen to Wengernalp. When all of a sudden we witness a large part of the Jungfrau Glacier break off and start a large avalanche!
Our next destination is Hamburg, Germany, where we explore the renowned Miniatur Wunderland. This attraction holds the Guinness World Record for the largest model railway system globally, situated in the historic Speicherstadt. With approximately 1,120 digitally controlled trains, over 10,000 train cars, and more than 10 miles of track, Miniatur Wunderland is housed in two four-story warehouses. Finally, we conclude our trip with a visit to Amsterdam before returning to Reno.
