Hello, fellow explorers!
Join me along with fellow traveler Joseph as we embark on a 15-day voyage from the crisp climes of New York City to the sultry breezes of San Juan, Puerto Rico, taking in the splendor of Bermuda & the West Indies along the way. This is my brief, unplanned review.
In Part 1 of this three-part series, I take you inside the serene elegance of Viking Sea as we experience the unforgettable first leg of our journey from New York to Bermuda.
Watch as we attempt to talk like real New Yorkers and follow us through the 9/11 memorial as we pay our respects on a golden autumn afternoon.
Later, behold the breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline as we make our way from the legendary piers of Hell’s Kitchen down the Hudson on a remarkable sunset sail out.
After a relaxing day and a half spent at sea, we call on the pastel-hued shores of Bermuda. Once ashore, we explore the streets of Hamilton and the historic Royal Naval Dockyards over the course of 24 hours.
I invite you to follow our explorations to learn more about Viking, our lovely ship and our overall experience during this wonderful voyage. Spoiler alert: it was magnificent.
Stay tuned for Part 2 of this three-part series, where we explore the islands of Antigua, Guadeloupe, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Martin, and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.
