More and more pilgrims on the Camino – feels like a return to normal – Day 12, part 6. #CaminoColm

[Music] this is more what the Camino looks like I’ve been fing about with the Drone throw we put there and about five six pilgrims of past me so they’re all up ahead there a few more behind as well this is what it should be like in fact probably busier at the peak of the season so this is a welcome change nice place addition to the journey see more and more fuses walking the path [Music]

I returned to the Camino in July 2020, just 1 week after Spain relaxed its lockdown restrictions for tourist entering the country. Covid-19 had brought some albergues to close, others tentatively reopened with reduced numbers – but pilgrims were very low in numbers!

I started #myCamino journey in 2019 from St Jean Pied de Port in the French valley below the Pyrenees and walked up, over and down into Spain.

Come with me as I continue on my Camino towards Santiago de Compostella.

It started an obsession with the Camino Francés and bore a new love of Spain and its people.
