The Fullerton Hotel Singapore [4K] | Heritage Luxury Hotel

[Music] hi it’s Muriel I host curated small group trips in Southeast Asia and I vet all the properties that we stay in for my [Music] trips in this video I take you on a stay at the iconic the Fullerton Hotel a luxury Heritage Property located along the banks of the Singapore River built in 1928 in a neoclassical style it was one Singapore’s General post office today it is now a grand 400 room Hotel [Music] the rooms and Suites are elegantly designed with luxurious modern [Music] amenities and of course it wouldn’t be complete without my favorite cappuccino [Music] machine because it is a Heritage Property there are about 33 room configurations to fit the original layout of the [Music] building I enjoyed taking a dip in the infinity pool overlooking the Singapore River I recommend going early when there is hardly anyone there I would also like to point out that there are several museums across the river you can easily walk to and explore the gym and the spa are located in the lower level and the spacious gym is fished with all the equipment for a good workout the gym and Spa share the same check-in desk in case you get confused about where to go I reserved a massage at the spa which by the way is shared with the Fullerton Bay Hotel at the time of my visit [Music] I was welcomed with a cool towel and herbal tea then off to the treatment room which was pretty basic and small compared to other five-star property Spa rooms I visited in Southeast Asia but the small space didn’t take away from the excellent massage I received [Music] one of my favorite pastimes at the Fullerton hotel is enjoying the breakfast buffet at Town [Music] Restaurant there is a wide variety of dishes from Asian to Western and everything that I’ve tasted has been delicious with fresh ingredients they also offer local Singaporean dishes that are made to order [Music] [Music] [Music] the main lobby is Grand and bright from the skylights high above there are also shopping boutiques throughout and there’s even the cake Boutique displaying beautifully designed cakes for history Buffs or if you just curious about the history of this iconic building take a complimentary Fullerton Monument tour check with the concierge for scheduled times and register for the tour because there’s a limited number of [Music] participants let’s head down the grand staircase did you know that there’s an underground path that will take you under the busy esplanad drive across the street to a few notable places like one Fullerton the mer Lion and the Fullerton Bay Hotel just to name a few it’s also a cool convenient and safe way to get across the road and see the fabulous Marina [Music] Bay The Straits Club is an exclusive and dedicated Lounge for those who book premium accommodation you will receive exclusive privileges such as champagne breakfast afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canipes among other [Music] things Jade Restaurant offers Exquisite authentic Chinese cuisine that was quite delightful the service was attentive and yet not intrusive [Music] overall I love staying at the Fullerton hotel in Singapore because it’s a luxurious Heritage Hotel with so much to [Music] offer my top highlights are ideal location right on the river walking distance to many popular places like the Marina Bay Sands lastly the amazing buffet breakfast keep in mind because it’s a Heritage building rooms will be configured differently but [Music] beautifully thank you for watching and please like And subscribe and click on the notification Bell to be notified when my next video comes out

This elegant heritage hotel, The Fullerton Hotel, is one of my favorite places to stay when I’m in Singapore. The location along the Singapore River is ideal because it is walking distance to many popular spots like the museums across the river, the Merlion, Lau Pa Sat Hawker Center, Chinatown, Marina Bay Sands complex, just to name a few.

It also has all the facilities I need: gym, spa, swimming pool, restaurants. The fact that it is a historic building makes it even more intriguing.
