  1. GM, Dougโ€”When you are on a ship & need to get your report out, do you have room service coffee delivered, or go out onto the ship on the hunt for caffeine? Enjoy Alaska!

  2. Hey Doug..eyes open now, i would say the drill went well..nothing like showing what you got in real life situations ๐Ÿ˜‚ all safe. Thanks for the news๐Ÿšข๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Mornin' Doug! Kudos to CCL on a great economic recovery from the Covid times. I do have to wonder, though, if there will come a time when passengers – in all lines – will want some of service cuts added back. I think most folks can grudging admit it was in "the community's" best interest to show some grace – in some cases a lot of grace – while the corporations are fighting for their existence trying to keep their heads above an ocean of debt. Now when the lines have record bookings and the associated record revenue, and everyone including the loan holders are happily making money, I start to think "Ok, we were gracious with you. How about returning the favor?".

Maybe it's time to start showing some meaningful loyalty gratitude to the folks who chose to cruise with masks, reduced everything, and "hit and (mostly) miss" itineraries.

  4. The Carnival worker who fell into the water has been hired as part of the aquatic show on a Royal Caribbean ship.

  5. I can (happily) imagine just what a clusterkcuf a REAL emergency would turn into, should the ignorant, drunken morons (and their kids) ever be called upon to assemble at their lifeboat stations, in preparation for abandoning the ship.

  6. Thank GOD he has on the vest which, I'm sure, is a huge factor. Thankfully also they were "docked" so the undertow or motors didn't cause an undertow.

  7. 10,000 new jobs!!!! Great news for a lot of young men and women looking for careers in the cruising industry. Figures with all the new big cruise ships entering service in the next few years. Another great report.
