~ Lausanne comes alive with delicate pink and white blossoms during spring. The city’s cherry trees and magnolias create a picturesque scene reminiscent of Japanese gardens.

~ My favorite spot for cherry blossoms was the Parc de l’Elysée. As soon as the first buds appeared, I rushed to admire them and took loads of photos worthy of the most beautiful Japanese parks. Plus, the outing was doubly rewarding because I combined my flower shooting with a visit to the Olympic Museum.

2. Olympic Magic by the Lake 🏅

~ The Olympic Museum itself is a must-visit. Situated alongside Lake Geneva, this magnificent park covers 8,000 square meters and is the cradle of the museum. It was inaugurated in 1993 and houses the world’s largest and most comprehensive Olympic collection.

~ Explore the rich history of the Olympic Games, marvel at iconic memorabilia, and immerse yourself in the spirit of Olympism. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or simply curious, the museum offers a captivating journey through time. 🌟

3. Lakeside Strolls 🌿

~ As the sun graces Lausanne, locals flock to the lakeside. I recommend walking down along the lakefront which offers a pretty breathtaking views of the Alps.
