BERGKIRCHWEIH 2024: This is what it really looks like!
[Music] okay let’s go today is the an at the and pretty much that just means that the festival officially starts today but that isn’t for another 9 hours so in the meantime I’m going to study for a few upcoming exams that I have and then probably going to head out to meet up with some friends so let’s stud for a [Music] bit well I think that’s enough studying for today now and I’m going to start heading out now to go meet up with some friends and then slowly start heading to the back yeah let’s [Music] go ignoring the past these are the times I we laugh looking back I’m getting lucky like coins in the world goodbye to my haters I’m wishing you well this is my man if you couldn’t tell this is our life and we living it well late nights in the city causing hell now we can go [Music] hey right now we’re actually not heading to the back right away because at gavid there’s this thing where a massive amount of people gather and then start drinking and then we all like walk together to Elan but yeah it’s like a massive amount of people you’ll see in a second but I will have to mention that I personally don’t drink any alcohol so I’m honestly just going to be with the guys and to just show you how crazy this Festival can get cuz a lot of my friends and a lot of people that I know like to drink so we’re just going to have to see how intense it gets in a few hours but you know I’m excited let’s get this going [Music] in your body grabing your ass enjoying the morning cuz fast I’m looking forward ignoring the past these are the signs of laugh looking back I’m getting lucky like coins in a well B of my haters I’m wishing you well could this is our and weing it [Music] [Music] All We Got Tonight let’s do this right let’s do this right let’s [Music] [Music] go I’ll call you [Applause] [Music] baby baby I want to know [Music] [Music] [Music] Hallelujah holy [ __ ] it’s raining like crazy okay let’s go and well even though the weather kind of turned the party into a pool party that was what the back C fight looked like or at least a youth version go check it out if you still can [Music]
The Erlanger Bergkirchweih is an extremely famous beer festival in Germany. It draws in over a million visitors a year with its outstandingly fascinating scenes and shops and attractions.
Though since I would consider myself to be a pretty young person, the actual Berg is not the place where all the ‘young’ people go. The actual place “for young people” is the Bürgermeistersteg and that’s what I show in this video.
However, we didn’t automatically start there. We started at a Rewe not too far from the Bergkirchweih since it’s a tradition to walk from the store all the way to Erlangen.
All of this is packed into this quick 5 minute video showing you what it’s like to go the Bergkirchweih and, more specifically, the Bürgermeistersteg (also known as the BMS).
