The longer the journey, the sweeter the reward.
Travel is a constant reminder of this.
We drove to the southernmost point of the island of Rhodes after a full day of exploration.
Tired and exhausted, we decided to at least walk as far as we could see.
It was much further than it looked. But when we got there:
“Just a little bit further. Let’s see what’s beyond this next bend.”
A few more rounds of this and we finally came up one last hill.
That’s when we were greeted by a stunning sunset over the cape.
And to make it even sweeter, there were dozens of wild mountain goats walking along the path down to the lighthouse.
Just us and nature.
A breathtaking scene that we’ll never forget.
Here’s to those road trips you almost skipped, the early morning adventures, and the trips your friends nudged you to come along for.
