Aiguille Du Midi | Must Do In Chamonix, France 🇫🇷
so this morning we’re going up to a midi in shamoni which is 3,800 m above sea level and it’s a viewing platform with Cafe and everything but it’s going to be really cool so we’ve just checked and they’ve delayed opening this morning I think it’s meant to open at 8:10 or 8:20 but there’s a bit of cloud around so I assume that’s why it’s delayed so it’s just g o wao almost fell past 8:00 in the morning so we’re headed there now just to wait and see what happens it recommends that you go up early in the morning the weather’s better the cloud doesn’t roll in and the sky is nice and clear so hopefully that’s the case the lift is currently closed due to snow and wind and we’ll find out next steps at 10:00 damn got up early for this but anyway we’ll wait they have just opened the lift uh we are in Cabin 38 and they are up to 18 so about a 30 minute wait he said so hopefully not too long there’s a fair few people waiting around hilarious when I’m meeting but what are you eating I don’t know crew Suzie or something all right some kind of French pastry they’re up to number 28 so we have 10 places to go before our cabin oh no 29 so we’ve been waiting an hour and a half and they’re up to number 35 so three cabins to go so it really makes it a long backlog when and they don’t open the lift on time cuz uh otherwise the wait shouldn’t be so long so yeah it’s been a pretty long morning and we are pretty Keen to get up there they’re up to 37 one to go it’s gone faster so they’ve caught up it’s go time finally [Music] now up the second cable car [Music] [Music] we have a [Music] ride it is freezing up here but it is beautiful it is so cold up here it says – 18 but in the shade oh my go I can feel my nose [Music] freezing I think it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life so snowy and just so [Music] big they say that you should probably send most people two to three hours here but up to five so it’s definitely pretty beautiful just to admire the views but there’s of terraces you can walk around to have panoramic views [Music] can see Shaman down there in the valley crazy absolutely crazy it’s a very long way down going down going down [Music] [Music] you scary this his we just came down to the mid station uh and had a baguette hot dog for lunch was 470 and it was pretty good and it is a spectacular sunny day it’s a bit windy though but the view is magnificent [Music] so we just arrived back in Shaman uh down the last cable car and it was an unreal experience it cost €75 per person so it is quite expensive when there’s two of you but it was 100% worth it so cool and just like unbelievable I think really unbelievable yeah like just something that you just have to see with your own eyes to believe that it’s real and in winter it’s just so snowy and it’s just like another world so definitely recommend doing the Au if you’re in Cham
