In 1516, King Francis I brought Leonardo to France, to Amboise more precisely, offering him the Clos Lucé as a gesture to show his appreciation. For the coming three years, he kept visiting him, incognito, learning from humanity’s genius. Da Vinci finally passed away on the red bed in 1519.
