These 12 NEW Travel Gadgets Are Genius! Here’s Why

I’ve bought and tested out several Amazon travel items that are pretty new and often recommended and while there were a couple of fails I have to admit some of these items are absolutely things that I wish I bought sooner hi there I’m Elana from the website lifewell cruise.com welcome or welcome back to my channel now if you are planning a trip or you’re going on a cruise these are a few travel items that I think you’re going to really be happy to bring whether you’re packing carry-on only because there is one item I hesitated about it is absolutely genius whether you’re traveling solo or whether you’re just looking for a few items that are going to help you travel more efficiently and by the way I also found a new dress I actually wore it out to a restaurant at home the other day but I am definitely going to bring it on my next Cruise now personally I don’t think that it looks like it comes from Amazon I think it looks much more expensive than it is but I would like to know what people have been saying to me atanta you really should try these solid bar shampoo and conditioners they work well and it’s easier to pack for a cruise you can even pack carry-on only because of course these are not a liquid I have to say I really hesitated and I don’t know why I just thought maybe they could be convenient but I didn’t really expect them to be a very good quality so before making this video earlier today I actually took the time I washed my hair I conditioned my hair I blew dry it and by the way I did want to share with you here I’ll show you what these look like I’ve dried them out since but basically the idea is that you do kind of rub them on your hair it actually makes a really good lather this is the shampoo you can see the S and then even the conditioner I thought well how is this going to work that I can condition my ends it really left my hair so silky smooth I was really very impressed now I will definitely be bringing these on my next Cruise now I’m telling you these are all genius items so the next one is this is called the stash band now I already have a money belt or a waist pouch that I brought on my European cruise that I did last year but this is really smart and the way it fits it almost has the same material like a legging or something like that is you’ll actually put this around your waist so if you’re a man or a woman you could wear it around your waist or you could even wear it under your clothing but you actually do have this sort of um little pockets over here where you could put your passport where you could put your credit card where you can put money you’ve got more than one Pockets you’ve got one on each side and I found that when I put this on and I had my passport in here and I had like some other items that you didn’t even know was there so you could just put a sweatshirt right on top of it or even probably have it laying flat and nobody would know a handheld fan now In fairness I did share this a few months ago but it really has been a long time this was the one item that I wished I had on my Mediterranean Cruise I was genuinely it was so hot so whether you’re going on a Caribbean cruise or maybe you’re traveling you’re going to the beach having a personal fan here it just goes like this so nice and by the way it does have different settings from low to high this best selling backpack now this is so smart it is a backpack that is basically the size of almost like a small suitcase so you actually have room in here to put your packing cubes if you use packing cubes I definitely do you have room to put your computer here you have even like a wet pouch that you can use lots of different pouches as well it really has so much room and if you really want to maximize the space in your personal bag this is definitely something I recommend a portable lock for a hotel room now you could use it for a hotel room you could use it elsewhere as well and although I had originally seen this on there were these viral videos where there was a lady and she was sharing all of the safety things that she does to keep safe um in a cruise ship cabin I personally don’t think that you need to do any of those things that she showed in the video great viral videos but I don’t think any of that was necessary but nevertheless I did actually see this quite a lot shared by a lot of women who are like cruising Solo or traveling solo and I did think that this actually does make a lot of sense sometimes you’re in a hotel room maybe you’re going to be in Europe maybe you’re driving on your way to Florida like we do there are a lot of reasons that sometimes you could want to have this kind of lock that just makes your hotel room more secure mol skin padding now I have to tell you a true story that happened to us just this past weekend my son was going to a wedding and he was wearing you know like dress shoes he hasn’t worn them in a while so I saw him take a couple of Band-Aids with him and he did that because he was like in case I get any blisters at least I can put them on and that’s normally what we always did I always have Band-Aids with me I recommend to keep them you never know when you get a blister right but I’ve seen recently people talking about mol skin so I decided to buy it and to try it so I told them I’m like let’s just cut off a piece and you try these take the Bandaids anyway but try this by putting this on your ankle already or that area your heel and you’ll be able to see if this works and you’re not going to even need the Bandaids well I’ll tell you it absolutely worked for him he didn’t need the Band-Aids you do have to cut it to the size that you want they have other packages that have sizes ready made please let me know if you’ve ever used mle skin if you prefer the ones that are readymade or if you prefer something like this I kind of like this because you can actually really mold it to what you need but I’d love to know please let me know down down in the comments below anyway needless to say mol skin is now on my cruise and travel packing list compression socks now as we are getting ready for a pretty long flight I am Gathering up the different things that I need and I’m definitely bringing my compression socks and this is just going to make it much easier if you are somebody who gets swollen legs while you’re flying or even while you’re cruising just bring some compression socks and use them when you’re in your cabin or even when you’re on your flight a luggage Bungie now I’m often asked what do I use when I have my luggage and maybe it has the wide handle what do I use to keep my carry-on bag on top now usually I just kind of put my carry-on bag on top but then I have to hold it and make sure it really stays in place so this is really perfect you can actually just wrap it right around your luggage keep everything secure bag smart compression packing cubes now I have been using packing cubes for a while I absolutely love them and I’ve been hesitant when it comes to compression packing cubes cuz sometimes I just find that they’re not see-through and I just haven’t always absolutely loved them but these in particular I really like because of the extra I guess storage organization I’m really big on organization but I’ll show you an example so for this one in particular and you can see the shape I like it because you can put underwear on one side socks on the other or bathing suits or something and you can keep other items right on top so I just think that their organization is so good and at the same time the compression and all of the quality of the materials is really just there water shoes or water socks now don’t think that these are only for Caribbean cruises if you are somebody who’s going on a Mediterranean Cruise something that might surprise you is that the beaches in Italy the beaches in Greece the beaches even in the south of France they are Rocky and we knew this already but it happened to be that we were in I think it was Santa Margarita we were in Italy one day it was absolutely gorgeous and we decided to take maybe about an hour and just sit on the beach and literally I was not able to just walk on the beach I had to wear my running shoes on the beach all the way up onto these large rocks because my feet would have just hurt so much so make sure if you are heading to a rocky Beach that you do bring these genius items okay so this is my Amazon dress and by the way I am going to show you a pair of shoes right after this so this is my Amazon dress I’m going to include a photo as well so you you can see really what it looks like it is just a beautiful knit now I bought it in the white with the black stripe it’s available in Navy it’s available in the reverse so the black and the white honestly I’m going to buy more colors I love it it even has a little slit so it makes it a little bit sexy without being like overly sexy and while it is sleeveless it now the other item I wanted to show you is these are I think my favorite flat sandals that are sold on Amazon they’re By the Drop which I think if I’m not mistaken is Amazon’s own brand now I have bought them in this tan color I just think it goes with everything it can go with a dress that I just showed it can go with shorts and a t-shirt and they are so comfortable now I had these in the past
