Day 2 saint Quentin to Nancy

this is our hotel in s Quinton we about a hey night breast [Music] hi folks we’re Simon and Emma AKA IGS and mortz we’re a UK couple who love to travel and ride our Harley Davidson we have decided to take an adventure on our Harley Sports at 883 we are riding Tua on a road trip across Europe to Southern turkey crossing a continent to reach our base for 3 months in fetier this is near the resort of idin turkey apart from getting in to the channel tunnel we will avoid toll roads and motorways we have no time scal but we do expect a rough Journey time of about 2 weeks we haven’t pre-booked any hotels um and we’re traveling light our route will take us through France Germany Switzerland lichenstein Italy Greece and ultimately turkey via the port of chesi near ISM our journey will take us through Snowy Mountains icy switch back p passes stunning Lakes ancient republics and civilizations long fairy Journeys along the way exploring cities and remote Villages and enjoying local Traditions before reaching our final destination in Turkey our little Sportster has become our trusty hero our steadfast Iron Horse please travel with us and enjoy please like And subscribe and drop us your nice River or Canal but it looks like it’s a Railway Bridge just found a little stroll across here it’s quite a big Cathedral up the mountain there and some nice pillars at the end of the bridge so we just comeing over to the Canal Bridge this is a picture of lass here’s the canal this it’s like a Winter’s day isn’t it it is it’s cold it’s like having a walk on like boxing day or something is it New Year’s Day it’s chis cold do you want to do 5 hours on the bike heading towards swizerland hopefully it’ll get warmer as we go across cuz 8° now we’re heading toward Switzerland yeah so it might not get warmer that know for it’s war or more snowy of stuff well we already found out this morning that the some of the passes are still impassible cuz the snow which we wouldn’t expecting were we so this is a huge War Monument with Lo of people’s names on it [Music] [Music] [Music] very it’s a beautiful sunny day as you can see but it is bitterly cold we wa have we’re going to hopefully go through Switzerland with the passes are shut because of snow so we might have to rout now and try somewhere else but we’re heading for Nancy today for 3 four 5 hours from here so we’ll be leaving by about 10: [Music] and we are expecting to um reach NY in about 5 hours we’re taking some country roads not the the motorway that’s our choice you the morning [Music] leave [Music] like a bird on a tree I’m just sitting here I got time it’s clear to see from up [Music] here the world seems small we can sit together it’s so beautiful you and [Music] me we meant to [Music] be in The Great Outdoors milesy it looks very appetiz it it’s at room temperature it’s been in my shirt it cheese that’s gorgeous but it’s free no I w’t bother about you let me have a little bit [Music] done give me up a bit yummy warm rubberry cheese [Music] [Music] [Music] automated booking at the front there’s no people around um here there’s a c area with some vending machines yeah what a beautiful room oh yeah this is this was [Music] 40 £45 or something we paid five this is gorgeous very happy with it so it’s the end of day two um we’ve done 118 miles today and we are in non sea France um at the Eno hotel and so today we went again on the little roads just show you the little roads to we went past Reams we took the little roads to nony here and this is where we’re staying the Enzo hotel which is like a Motorcar themed hotel so so far we’ve gone from chips to across to the middle of France tomorrow we’re hoping to um head over to Germany [Music] Salon bar is it chicken C Sal anden [Music] by P chart we have a room just by our bike oh looks very wet though pop a so on in [Music] it’s day three and it’s a wet day today so we’re going to stop and do some sing in Oni um we didn’t bring waterproofs with us to save on luggage space which is a decision we made um right at the start um and we’re just going to have a layover if the weather is too wet to ride so here’s NY [Music] [Music] when the rain got really bad um we went to the Natural History and aquarium in non SE [Music] it’s day four and we’re just preparing to leave um today’s our last day in France we’re heading to Germany um we
