Hey guys! Welcome back to the channel today Cayleigh and I are sharing the best hotel to stay at in Santorini Greece the name of this hotel is Atrina Canava 1894 it is located right in Oia which is the most picturesque village in Santorini and we have spent the past four nights here we really don’t want to leave it’s amazing so we’re going to show you around [Music] [Music] for those of you who don’t know us I’m David I’m Cayleigh and we run a Travel and Adventure Vlog called Made to Explore we are passionate about activities that get you outside and off the beaten path we’ve got a ton of hiking of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed but it is perfectly located right along the main strip in Oia while there are multiple places that you can stay on the island of Santorini we wanted to talk about why we think that Oia is the best and why it is worth your money to stay here first of all it is the most picturesque village like I had mentioned it’s so beautiful and you’re probably going to be coming here quite a bit anyway one of the things that we love is that the streets here get busying during the day theres cruises there’s people from other villages at that point we come back to our hotel where it’s nice and quiet we can enjoy it peacefully and then we can get up at 6:00 a.m. like we did this morning go out in the streets when there’s nobody here and enjoy so it really is worth it if you want to avoid the crowds you also have amazing views of the Caldera Cliffs behind us you have great views of the sunsets and this is the best town to enjoy sunsets from in Santorini so there’s some places that are close to here one is the Castle of Oia so popular crazy busy we didn’t actually go there because we could see most of the sunset from our place which is really nice a couple other points are it’s along the trail from Fira to Oia which is beautiful we would highly recommend it and there’s also some great cliff jumping in the bay just down here which is like a 10-minute walk from our place absolutely yeah and you do day trips from here the public buses are very convenient um so it’s pretty cheap to get around but yeah I we think it’s a little bit more expensive to stay in Oia but we definitely think it’s worth it the hotel itself is actually only 25 minutes from the airport as well which is pretty convenient and it’s located right along that main strip you’re close to shopping you’re close to um restaurants you can’t drive right up to the hotel but it is very close to the main road which is really nice for when you’re bringing your luggage um over to the hotel sure so first up let’s talk about the room you guys [Music] these are some of the most luxurious rooms that we’ve ever seen we are on our balcony right now and we’ve got a private whirl pool which is heated and a tanning area table area for eating breakfast they actually bring breakfast right to your patio every morning which is pretty incredible inside is so spacious so you walk in the door there’s kind of an entrance area there’s a small um kitchen area to the left and then there’s a nice big open bedroom comfy queen siiz bed huge bathroom yeah the bathroom is absolutely beautiful these rooms are built into the cliffs so our room actually has huge rocks um kind of coming through the white and it’s it’s very unique it’s so beautiful and then we’ve also got a living area with a couch that folds down into a bed and a beautiful little uh window area along with a beautiful room this resort also has a really nice pool area that’s actually a cold pool which we’ve cooled down in every afternoon uh there’s a tanning area and then there’s also a restaurant and bar and the restaurant is delicious oh the food here you guys it’s so good we’ve ordered lunch and dinner uh I’ve gotten calamari we’ve gotten some traditional Greek dishes and musaka greek salad everything so good so you have the option of eating it either at your room which every room here has a spectacular view or at the pool which has a great view so there’s really you can’t each evening you get a sheet to fill out and you get to pick exactly what you want for breakfast the next day the options are honestly overwhelming yeah everything is so so good and they serve it right to your balcony at the time that you want it so you really can’t get better than that the staff have been treating us really nice they’ made us feel like family instead of guest which has been such a treat noticed that everybody in Santorini honestly all of the locals have been so sweet but this hotel in particular everybody is so welcoming so helpful everybody just goes out of their way to make sure that you’re having a good time and everybody just is truly like kind and wants to chat it’s just yeah
