Portugal offers a D8 digital nomad’s visa, which is perfect for digital nomads. And is generous in terms of taxes. All D8 holders have a 6-months tax free period. To apply for the Visa You’ll have to prove a minimum passive income of 7200 euros per year. And Do not worry, Lisbon is relatively affordable compared to other Western European capitals. Expect to spend about 1500 to 2000 euros per month on rent, food, and entertainment having a good and fun lifestyle. The largest digital nomad communities here include folks from the US, UK, and Brazil. You’ll find them at meetups, coworking spaces, and probably at that little café around the corner with the best pastel de nata. Moving on with the next on the list. Barcelona, Spain. Everything shuts down for a few hours, giving you the perfect excuse to take a nap. Moving on next. Flying far to the east – where sights of Modern skyline takes place. K-pop culture, unbeatable cafes, coworking spaces, and cultural landmarks. Yep, we’re speaking of Seoul, South Korea. This city is not just a K-pop and K-drama paradise – it’s a heaven for digital nomads too. Imagine working in a chic café, where every corner looks like it’s designed for your Instagram feed. South Korea is gaining popularity as a prime destination for digital nomads to embark on workations, owing to its safety, robust IT infrastructure, and rapid trends. In order to be eligible for South Korea’s new digital nomad visa, you must be a remote worker employed by a foreign company, making at least double South Korea’s gross national income per capita from the previous year. For 2023, that figure calculated out to about 85 million won, or approximately 64000 US dollars. Expect to spend anywhere around 2 to 4 million won or like around 1800-3000 in us dollars per month. Depending on your own lifestyle. South Korea is famous for its plenty of quiet spots for those days when you need to get down to business without distractions. As of May 2022, Argentina has a digital nomad visa that will allow you to live in the country for 6 months. And it’s renewable for a further 6 months. You know what’s so good about this place? You not only enjoy the latino vibe. BUT While on the Digital Nomad Visa You do Not need to pay taxes. The digital nomad community in Buenos Aires is a lively mix, with significant numbers from Europe, North America, and other parts of Latin America. The coworking scene here is thriving, with plenty of spaces that offer a creative and productive environment. Buenos Aires offers a great quality of life at a relatively low cost. You can live comfortably on about 1200 to 2000 dollars per month, depending on your lifestyle. When you’re not working, Buenos Aires offers endless activities to keep you entertained. Alright, fam, it’s time for our final suggestion for today! The Middle East pearl – Dubai. A city where you can ride a camel in the morning and attend a high-tech conference in the afternoon. We’re talking top-notch coworking spaces, killer Wi-Fi, and a lifestyle that screams, “I’ve got this!" Dubai offers the Virtual Working Program, allowing remote workers to live and work in the city for up to a year. all you need is proof of employment or business ownership and a minimum monthly income of 5000 dollars. Taxes? What taxes? Dubai is tax-free, baby! The coworking spaces in Dubai are next level, with amenities that would make Silicon Valley jealous. And When it comes to play, Dubai does not disappoint. Spend your weekends skydiving over The Palm, dune bashing in the desert. Chilling on one of the pristine beaches, or should I say Yachts.
