Getting Lost in MUNICH | GERMANY VLOG 🇩🇪
and we go back in time we have to go back more than 850 years and then we get to this here by the way if you take a look to the right you can see a for Jewish Community Center with our [Music] all right greetings from Munich Germany um we are currently on a bus tour of the city but we made a pit stop at this Palace [Music] [Music] repr wow isn’t that nice imagine going on a a run through here I definitely want to come back and tour more of this Palace grounds because un fortunately we didn’t really get a chance this is only a pit stop but like imagine if your baby shower gift was a palace cuz that’s essentially what this is [Music] [Music] oh my gosh this is like a restaurant and you could sit inside a cable car and eat like a meal it’s so funny look at that all right so we just finished our bus tour of Munich and our tour guide was very very informative however I’m not going to lie I probably don’t remember every single thing she she talked about cuz she she talked about a lot but um I I did my best with the annotations on the screen so hopefully you guys got something out of that but now we are walking through a very high-end part of Munich so there’s lots of of designer stores [Music] here oh are you going in oh they’re going to go in okay excuse me where’s the Christmas Market milon oh okay thank [Music] you all right so we just got out of Gucci and we bought something so very pleased about that but now we are I believe walking towards the Christmas Market and right now I am also walking through I believe this is like a a university area campus what I also like about Munich is that um it’s very clean from what I could see in terms of weather we are here in December so it’s a bit chilly but I’m so happy it’s not raining because for the past couple days that I’ve been in Europe it’s been raining but today we pretty much there’s some clouds in the sky but um no rain so that’s good it’s cold it’s cold it’s cold now oh my gosh one cool thing about being in Munich at this time especially as someone from California who doesn’t really experience seasons is that you really get a sense that it is the fall winter season because aside from it being really cold it’s very windy a lot of the trees have lost its leaves there’s lots of crunchy brown ainal leaves on the floor there’s people in thick jackets with beanies so yeah you really get a sense that it is fall/ winter here for any of you guys who ever come to Europe and you’re not from Europe my Pro tip number one would be get out of the bicyclist way like in Europe I would say as a rule of thumb there’s a lot of bicyclists that was the case when we went to salsburg that was the case now that we’re in Munich so just get out of their way because my mom literally almost got run over by a bicyclist and aside from almost getting run over by the bicyclist she then got yelled at by the bicyclist so just be conscientious of your surroundings look to see where they designate on a sign where the bicycle lane is and just get out of their way because they take it very seriously here in [Music] Europe L have fun all right [Music] I don’t [Music] know we lost [Music] one we’re falling apart here oh my God we lost one we really lost one how the hell did we lose one oh sh she’s sitting over here she’s sitting oh my God one of them just decided to take a break oh my god oh man this is so funny oh my God okay she’s sitting down she’s sitting down over there do she want to go to the market oh I don’t know she’s just sitting down on her phone oh oh oh she’s talking to someone I’m not quite sure she’s just like this on her phone oh the what yeah stay all right we lost my mom and her friend they just stayed back there but we are now in eyesight of the Christmas [Music] Market oh what’s this oh [Music] that’s weird all right so I am like alone alone now I am with no one I am by myself just wandering around this Christmas Market but I will say this Christmas Market is very festive like even the the way that the stands are designed is so on theme the stands themselves are decorated really nice their trash can literally looks like a gingerbread house the little tables where people will eat and put their food on is shaped like a Christmas tree and something that they have in this Christmas Market compared to the Christmas Market we were at in um Austria is they have animatronics so cool [Music] a Christmas Market necessity is the food so for lunch today we are having I don’t know exactly what this is called in German but it’s like a St sandwich excuse me can you take a picture oh yeah sure yeah yeah yeah I put the ketchup and the mustard in the sandwich so now we’re going to try it [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you [Applause] all right so we left the Christmas Market cuz it was getting a little too chaotic there a little too crowded but before I left I got a Nutella crepe so you can’t really see it I’m not doing a good job oh it’s so windy too this is what it looks like so yeah I’m going to enjoy this Nutella crepe before I get back on the bus for like an hour and a half drive back to the hotel so it’s nice to have a warm crepe in this cold weather [Music] one 2 3 [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh
In 2019, my mom and I went to the UK & other parts of Europe for the first time.
In the final part of my European holiday adventure, we do some sight seeing in Munich and get lost on our way to the Christmas market. We also visit Nymphenburg Palace and do a little shopping.
