Leipzig is a city in eastern Germany and the largest city in the state of Saxony. Founded in 1015, it has a population of nearly 630.000 people. Leipzig is known for the Leipzig Trade Fair, one of the oldest trade fairs in the world, dating back to 1165. Johann Sebastian Bach worked in Leipzig from 1723 to 1750. making the city also a destination for classical music enthusiasts.
