Mykonos, Greece Anniversary Trip
that’s not MOS that’s aam P tried to land twice in that and Mos he couldn’t do it we just gave some advice to some people we bought another flight on another airline Sky Express off our bags we’re going to try to land in mikos one more time if that doesn’t work we’ll be right back here and we’ll be taking the fair in the morning [Music] hey guys welcome to mikos Greece we’re here on our anniversary we wanted to come to a country we’ve never been to before so we thought let’s go to Greece and look at this view behind us man it is amazing it’s just absolutely beautiful weather here well it was beautiful we’ve been here about 2 days we had an adventure uh getting here actually we um had a really we thought it was going to be a short direct flight here it was awesome until we got on the plane they did the safety briefing shut the door then they opened the door back up and said we need to swap Pilots for some reason I don’t know why still so we had to wait for another airplane to land so the pilot could get off of there and come over well that happened about 45 minutes later and then uh they shut the door everything seemed good and then they open the door again after a short while and said we they didn’t have enough people in the air traffic control tower for us to take off which was weird cuz I could see planes taking off so I still don’t understand that maybe it was a bad translation then we finally closed the door again and about 2 2 and 1 half hours after our original takeoff time we finally took off and we come in for a landing except the pilot of boards because it’s too windy and he’s a new pilot he’s not very confident so we circle around we try a second time he aborts that one too and ends up saying sorry we can’t land it’s too windy we’re going to Athens yeah so we’re like okay so now we’re like super late and we’re Landing in Athens and to make a long story somewhat short we waited like 2 hours with a crew at the gate in Athens I did know what to do it’s like this has never happened before didn’t know where we could get our bags didn’t know what the plan was to get us here so we ended up eventually finding out our bags we’re down at the Luggage baggage claim and the L said you know we could terminate our flight with Ryan a that’s who we were flying on and they will not get us here it’s all on us at that point M or we could wait until the next day and we’d probably take a 6-hour ferry here and not get here till like noon 12:30 in the afternoon and we were like I don’t really want to do that we you know we paid for this room already so let’s let’s get to MOS so we looked up the next flight out uh what was it sky sky Express Sky Express right out there on the spot on our phone bought a ticket a one-way ticket from Athens to M on Sky Express and it’s funny because we got to the gate for the flight and half the plane was people from our original flight we were all like hey how’s it going I had the same idea same idea uh and this was a prop plane much smaller plane yeah but a more experienced pilot much more experienced pilot and we ended up taking off at 8:30 at night I think it was got here about 20 minutes later in the dark and the guy landed on the first try no problem right in there in nighttime small plane getting tossed around no issue we end up Landing here and I think we end up getting here around I don’t know 9:30 I guess so yeah maybe 10: I forget what time it was got to watch the sunset on the plane though that was kind of cool but uh anyways we got in late at night Saturday we made it here on the original day we’re supposed to be here just like 10 hours later though but so we’ll show you some clips of that uh what little bit I filmed just been relaxing but getting over that de-stressing relaxing spending time at the pool yeah and we’re going to go on a catamaran here here in a couple hours so we’ll bring you along and hopefully show you some great views out there on the ocean we’ll we got to go back through security we dropped off our bags we’re going to try to land in MOS one more more time if that doesn’t work we’ll be right back here and we’ll be taking the fer in the morning so we’ll see what happens what a day [Music] [Music] look at that we get an experienced pilot land on the first try in a small plane in a small plane welcome to MOS [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] girls crazy whatever it takes a little bit of crazy to be about oh my gosh is it really cold that’s really cold I thought the pool water was cold this is colder don’t dri too far away though I’ll swim back feels feels good it’s cool but it feels good you kind of get used to it after like 10 [Music] minutes I don’t know how good the audio is working we’re in the ocean off the catar and it’s cold but it feels good feels good you get you toting yeah this is cool I like it oh I’m holding on to a stand up paddle board it’s trying to go I like this yeah this where I [Music] belong do this is great [Music] he [Music] I’m on a boat and I’m driving what is it what okay we got to we got to do this I think we should toss everyone together we’re doing shots what [Music] Happ shot the group the next I’ll see you the next [Music] round see how it is pretty good this is very good you like it thank you so much was it good oh so good so good amazing amazing oh look he’s got his you need one more of course all right thank you so much bye bye that was awesome was was really cool that’s M all right we came downtown we’re trying not to get ran over this is the only way to go though [Music] yeah this isut there’s like no room and there’s no sidewalks on these Street holy moly the wind we found our first kitty cat in Greece it’s friendly home with us we should have brought a c car goodness what happened to you little here we should get some food it’s like I think somebody made a friend look at this oh it’s going be hard to [Music] leave really warm right now [Music] did a little shopping there’s a little cross right there see yeah I like it oh we found more cats oh [Music] yeah bird TR to take your food you’re taking your food you don’t even care [Music] [Music] [Music] Cheers Cheers we got some lunch you going to get that picture yes such an authentic Greek meal awesome and it’s going to be good let’s dig in [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so if you can hear me apparently this is little us so we’re going to go exploring off over here into all the buildings the waterways it’s really cool MOS has so many hidden little secrets behind every corner so many little shops you can find it’s beautiful yeah it’s fun to just get lost and explore and then get out your Google Maps when you need to get back home that’s what we’re going to go do now [Music] a that [Music] [Music] [Music] cheers all right guys that was awesome we had a nice bottle of wine while we watched the sunset it’s still kind of setting it’s been going forever it’s just it’s just beautiful here in Greece we’re going to go buy some souvenirs and maybe get a bite to eat and call tonight and head back to the hotel it’s been a great day here uh downtown MOS yeah it’s been perfect yeah we’ll see you tomorrow guys bye [Music] all right guys last full day in mikos so we had to come back downtown to uh find the seagull that’s kind of the goal yeah but also get some more good food some good wine enjoy one more sunset from downtown what is he is he he’s pink right yeah it’s like a pink seagull or something I don’t he’s famous here he’s on all the magnets and t-shirts and everything so I’ve been told by good sources that he stays at a lot of the local restaurants along the in the water so we we’re going to go find him so let’s go right there actually I think it’s a pelican second thought it’s a pelican for sure not a seagull a little bigger than a seagull yeah funnier looking funnier looking bigger goofier and pink and pink where’s he [Music] at all right so we found out with a little research online his name is Peter and he not only is down by the water but he likes to wander in between the buildings that’s what we’re doing so we’re wandering between the buildings see if we get lucky I guess he’s usually around this corner oh that’s why you wanted to come this way the kitty [Music] cat not that way [Music] [Music] all right guys we took a break to from finding the Pelican Peter had to get a drink we did a little bit more research on Instagram we think we know maybe a better area to look we’re going to go there next probably catch the sunset and get a little bit to eat so we’ll keep looking yeah all right guys that’s going to do it from meos gree we’re here at the famous windmills to close it out uh it was a good time we never did find Peter the Pelican though I don’t know does he really exist I see a lot of pictures online but yeah we couldn’t find him we it’s kind of loud at night so they probably scares him off honestly yeah we were looking at some of the spots where he’s been spotted before but I think there’s too much music too many people right now so poor guy he’s probably hiding out somewhere I don’t know where he’s at but An awesome trip to Mykonos that started out a bit crazy! With lots of airline problems and landing in the wrong city! We made the best of this amazing trip and anniversary!
