We visited ancient Roman ruins of Umm Qais (known as Decapolis city of Gadara) and medieval Ajloun Castle on a day trip from Amman. Archeological site includes the ancient Roman ruins, well maintained theatre and Ottoman-era village. The history of Umm Qais dates back to the 1st century BC when the city was part of the great Roman Empire. Ajloun castle is a perfect example of medieval architecture and listed as Unesco World Heritage site. This video is a part of travel in the country of Jordan, one of the most favourable tourism destinations and places to visit in the Middle East. You can see more of other ancient civilizations on my channel
