[Music] [Music] so welcome to Rice I think that’s how pronounce anyway not entirely sure so apologies for my presentation um but we’re here in rice staying at a lovely uh luxury Airbnb and we’ve arrived uh when the fair is on so uh that’s going to be really interesting to take a look at later on uh the main reason we’re in this area is because of the gorgeous Dean which is supposedly very much like the Grand Canyon um so yeah it’s going to be really interesting to see how that compares it’s a really pretty little village here and there’s some Roman ruins some columns and there’s remains of a baptistry and a chapel uh so yeah there’s quite a lot of history here we’re staying at a amazing looking Airbnb so that will also be really great to check out and hopefully it will live up to the expectations but now it’s time to head over to our Airbnb and check out that [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] look [Music] so good morning uh we’ve just had a first night gear in rise and it was really lovely in the Airbnb can’t fault it at all um actually I can fault it slightly uh the stairs are a bit of a nightmare to get up to but that’s absolutely fine might not see some people but it’s okay for us today is Adventure day heading over to the gorge I’m G to go and check out that hopefully take the paddle board out up through the gorge and then head up to some of the little Villages and the V points and possibly if I’ve got the energy and maybe a little bit of a high glitcher on today as well um so yeah let’s go check that out so I’ve just pulled in to just off the side of the road for this amazing view here of the stunning Lake behind me color is absolutely unbelievable it’s amazing turquoise color youve also got lovely little wild flowers by the side of the road as well um so yeah it looks incredible so at this rate I we’re actually going to get to The Gorge cuz there’s so many beautiful places to stop off and look at just around the lake itself and behind me you got this cool bridge going over the lake and yeah it’s absolutely stunning weather’s fantastic and color again color of the water is just be so I’m now out on the uh badun River and heading into the gorge on the ped and take a look [Music] there is a life I lead in this city hurrying to cut my tea I can take what I need to get by it doesn’t make it easy the other piece of my heart slow somewhere in the greater when I return from the after you carry me like I am it’s quite H though because I got the wind behind me that’s kind of just blowing me Downstream a bit which is probably going to make the paddle back the other way quite difficult but um F’s very pleasant have SK I want it all I had a feeling but the feeling is all WR [Music] so I’ve just come ashore now cuz wind’s picking up quite a lot as you can right here and um I just got storm alert on my watch which is not really what I want to have right while I’m in the ne the canyon uh so yeah just come a short a b the Lea’s day and wish about picnic that looks like the wind’s really starting to piig so probably should make a move and otherwise not get CH to R you see how much the wind is pushing me I’m not even bading one thing though uh I didn’t fancy these electric boats uh cuz they’re super slow I’m paddling faster than I’m not even trying although I do have wind assistance beautiful right so that was the bottom of the gorge so now let’s take a drive up and see if we can see near the top so making our way up the uh Mountain Gorge and just up to the end side of the road and it’s probably going to become a quite frequent occasion a little bit windy up here but amazing view late uh behind me and the other side of the road which I’ll tell you to in a minute is looks like there’s a little w walkway a fantastic view of the gorge so let’s take a look at that have no clue where this path is taking me at all prob we going up uh and it’s pretty sketchy places but it’s uh stunning view outside of me it’s definitely worth making my way up this path uh again fantastic views everywhere and the lake looks fous you can really see how it’s kind of carved out the landc which you don’t really notice when you’re down there um yeah really beautiful um again weather’s closing in again a bit maybe it doesn’t look like it behind me um the other way it’s uh yeah bit cloudy um but yeah anyway I’m going to see where the this path leads and yeah hopefully get some more good views [Music] [Music] [Music] so I’m just driving back to the Airbnb now I’m tired and hungry after today’s adventures and we also need to book uh our recommendation for tomorrow um thinking that we’ll head down to ni or somewhere or possibly anti somewhere around that area um but yeah need to need to head back check out some more airbnbs uh and yeah and continue the adventure see you later
