Now we are in Wadi Rum. Yesterday we did a tour of Wadi Rum. Today we are going to Petra which is known as one of the Wonders of the World. It may take about two to two and a half hours to go from Yes to Petra. I am in this In the video I will show you how you can go from Wadi Rum to Petra. I have taken a bus here. By bus I will go to Petra, so let’s show you the whole journey, how to go from Wadi Rum to Petra and in this video I will show you the city of Petra. I will show you which is situated in Wadi Masa, so let’s start this video for Petra. See how it looks inside Wadi Rum in the morning. Guys, it was very cold. We did star gazing in the evening. After that we also made bun fire and then went and slept somewhere. This is called the Little Bridge here, although I had shown you the Big Bridge in yesterday’s video, it is just behind our tent. Look, these are the tents, behind them is the Little Bridge. Now we will have breakfast, after that we will take the jeep and go to our bus station. [Music] We have reached Vader Village near our tent and from Vader Village we will get a mini bus which will take us to Petra. I had booked this bus online only. Mini Bus But if you do not get time then You can also book this bus by going to Vader Village and its charges will be around 10 Jordanian Dinar. Look, the bus looks something like this, the mini bus which takes people from Wadi Rum to Petra and from Petra to Wadi Rum, this bus basically takes us to the bus station there. Will deliver us apparently and from there we will have to go to Petra Visitor Center from where we get the entrance ticket, so let’s start our journey from Wadi Rum Village to Petra. See friends, here in Dadar Village, before going inside the desert, I will show you some guest houses. We are providing here if you want more facilities and if you are not comfortable living in these tents, if you want more facilities then this can also be an option. You can go on this desert tour comfortably and a little more here. You will get the same facilities [Music] Whatever you can see is Petra City, inside which we are going to go, after going inside I will tell you its history, when was it built, who did everything inside it, how did everything happen? I will go inside and tell you, see, we are going to Petra by walk. We thought that we would go by walk and show you the entrance of Petra and because of this, we have not taken a taxi, but the road is very steep and it is very difficult to go with luggage, see us. Because of this, I got a little hurt on my hand. Just a little more time and then we will reach there [applause] [music] [applause] [music] Let’s go inside Petra City and let’s show you the view of Petra City. We have a small problem, we have taken our luggage with us because we are taking Aman bus from Petra, so we have not booked a hotel here, so we will have to keep this luggage somewhere and let’s see if anyone can keep this luggage here. The ticket price is such that if you have a Jordan Pass, then come here, scan the Jordan Pass and your ticket will be in your hand. If you do not have a Jordan Pass, then there is a little problem because the ticket here is Rs 50,000. Tickets are very expensive near the Indian Railways, so if you buy the Jordan Pass, you will be in advantage. I have the Jordan Pass, I am buying the ticket and we go inside [music] We have taken the entry, the entrance inside Petra City looks like this We and I are seeing horses here. Basically the horses will take you to the lesson. I will show you which is the area of C. From here you will have to walk for some distance. You and the people standing here, see now they will come and start asking about the horses. I don’t thank you, thank you, no thank you, thank you. See friends, these horse people are saying that this is our ticket, entry ticket, horse ride is also included in it, which is a scam. They say that it is included, but they will say after taking us. If you pay extra then this is all a scam, no thank you no thank you, see now the person behind said that it is included in the ticket and the person in front is asking for paa dinar for this ride, it is not such a long ride, you can manage comfortably. You can do it, by the way, here you will also get golf cards to go and come and see here the police are patrolling on horse, there is Sikh behind me, this place is called Sikh, from the place we move towards treasury, treasury is the same. Basically what you call google3 guys, this will be the route map of Petra, if you want to complete the whole Petra, people say that Petra cannot be completed in one day, so they give a pass for two days, these people charge Rs 60 for it. JD One day pass for two day pass 50 JD So see, we started from the visitor center from where we took the entry, after that learn where I am standing which will take you inside the treasury, Treasury Al Khana, it is called. This is the main place and after that you will come somewhere else called Ad Dare which is also called Monastery. This will be the last point so basically this is the route of Petra City. If you follow the route map then you can complete the entire Petra City in just one day. [Music] Now it’s time to know the history of this place. There used to be a tribe here whose name was Nab Shians. They were basically nomads who used to roam from one place to another for the purpose of trading. Basically these people were from Saudi Arabia and Yemen. This city was discovered by the Nashans in 312 BC. At that time, when the Nashans used to pass through Saudi Arabia and Yemen to trade, this place used to come between them. Basically, at the place where they were passing through this place, there was a very nice valley where Water could be stored, so what did they do because of that, they settled here, they chose this place as their capital, they started living their life parentally. At one time, 300 nations used to live here, the rocks here are what you are seeing. Yes, these rocks are not so hard, then houses can be built by cutting them, so basically whatever I will show you after this, they have built themselves by cutting these rocks, but there was a city, a proper city, its name is The Los City. Off [Music] Petra Look here, some rocks have been tied down because the rocks are almost on the verge of falling so that they do not fall, hence they have been tied down. See friends, the caving has become visible from here, see in this manner. We used to do this thing to these rocks that in the future we will show you many such caves [music] [music] [music] and see, finally, while walking, we found another place about which there are so many discussions [music] or this place This and treasury, if you put the name of Jordan in the throat then you will see this place [Music] Its name is treasury alaknha, call it treasury and here you will find many people asking that you have to take a picture of the perfect view from here, see this. Let ‘s take a picture from here. See, this is the place from where the picture of this treasury turns out to be very beautiful. See here it is written that climbing to the area over looking at the treasury from the opposite side is free of charge. It is included with it. The entry ticket to the site is there is no need for any guide to the climb so basically they say that you will get the above picture free of charge but you will have to walk a very long distance for it. I have watched some videos. For this, you will have to do a lot of walking, this is the reason that here in tourist places, such people will show you an easy way to earn and you will earn something from this. Let us go a little further and show you guys, these are no madmen and no foreigners who live in this city. These were so unique, I am just now getting to know how they made such monuments by cutting these rocks and making such beautiful carvings. In today’s times, such carvings are a common thing, but imagine, in the era of 312 BC, such things were done. They had done the carving which is really commendable, however, it is forbidden to go inside from here, apparently we could have gone inside here earlier but now it has been closed, so friends, we are going up by paying three dinars per person, this boy will take us, anyway. Can we go alone? These people won’t let us go. Actually, the picture is very good from there . Told me okay, look at the arrow marks here, you will reach the top [Music] [Music] We move to our next spots and which From here we go, from here you can go to the monastery, I am a little doubtful whether I can go to Mostik or not because my bus is at 5 o’clock, for the sake of Aman, let’s see how many points we can cover, and see some Sonia shown here. I am giving you the option to shop like mine. The pass time is very short so you can listen to something like this Back Home There is a church above here you can see the church of that time above see guys all this has been carved by nations they used to live here in those times they used to call these rocks After making caves, they had built their houses inside, there are different points here, as I showed you in the route map, the monastery is the last point here, which almost looks like the treasury, so basically if you are coming inside Petra, then from treasury to You will get the rest of the points till the Monastery, from here you will walk through this path, here is the auditorium, it is called The Theatre, this is the only auditorium in the world which is made by cutting the rocks, it seats about 3 to 4000 people. And this is the last spot here which is called Monastery, with this Petra City is complete [Music] If you start at 10 or 11 in the morning, then you can comfortably visit this entire Petra City till 5:00 in the evening . If you want then you can also complete the bye walk on foot. I started coming here around 1:30 am so guys this was Petra city let’s go towards Aman let me show you how to take the bus to Aman You can see guys, this is Petra Museum, just behind Petra Museum you will see the jet bus station, you can go inside the office and get the ticket, by the way, I had already got my ticket, so from here we will take the bus and go towards Aman which is approx. Our journey will be of four and a half to four hours. See friends, this is the jet bus which will take us to Aman. We can keep our luggage here. The bus looks like this from inside [music ]
