this is Grace we live we live together yeah next door next door how do you like Germany so far I personally love Germany because beer is cheap and transportation is cheap and groceries are cheap room room and the people are cool so but I miss my car yeah yes I miss my car and your boyfriend and my boyfriend I’ll see you later Vlog an hour away not that oh is it a video yeah [Music] [Applause] I don’t know but I saw it in other cities what did he say what did he say he probably said you better pay me oh yeah did you see that Germany lost to Spain yeah yeah I was watching [Music] we’re here on the bridge in hide wait I might actually Vlog this weekend actually it’s such a nice [Music] area someone put a picture with I would assume that’s what is it is it a someone posed like every single one of them basket basket looking that way does that work yeah you think if I upload this into the da a [Laughter] web getting in the monkey all right give me a second am I supposed to like oh my God echoing wait all do it at once it’s good [Music] [Music] luck leave me alone you look like an actual YouTuber okay so day two of the heidleberg conference are waiting for breakfast there’s a line I can Vlog for you if you don’t want to Sure wait I don’t this looks too professional okay well hi this is my channel now basically when a fish is swimming through the water um the water around where its tail is going back and forth leaves these ripples in the water do you remember why we are here in heidleberg yes it was a student from heidleberg and we where did he go to do you remember for his journey abroad yeah okay you share so you get [Music] both good luck take care it was really great to see you thank you I just ate lunch and I’m back in my hostel room so the rise students had an option of having a walking tour of heidleberg a boat tour or a zoo trip I chose the walking tour so the buses leave at 2: I think and it’s now 1:22 I really want to interview people like ask what kind of yeah hi hi yeah but okay I really want to interview people and ask them like what their internship is they gave us these name tags we’re at the walking now and wait my vog we’re going on the wait raining oh now we’re just walking that direction I love the camera yeah I’m making a vlog that it be in my Vlog sure okay wa what’s your name I’m Arvin and where are you from I’m from North Carolina uh North Carolina State University what are you studying there I’m a physics major physics and math okay okay and where are you studying Germany and what is your research I am in stutgart and I am studying uh reinforcement learning on partially observable dynamical systems um the idea is pretty much you have a system that kind of behaves in an unexpected way and you can only control part of it so we have to figure out how to control a part of it in a way that is stable so that we don’t do anything surprising like I don’t know our bus toppling over during an earthquake yes that would be good what’s your favorite thing in Germany so far oh public transit by far like I mean North Carolina can’t compare with this public transit I can get anywhere I want in like an hour max anywhere I’d want to go I know it’s so nice so nice to talk to you nice to talk to you too what’s your name hi I’m Anisha and where are you from and what are you studying I’m from State College Pennsylvania and I’m we have to walk to the building for the announcements yesterday this is Anisha vlogging as well um Vlog setion guys look I don’t know what’s going on because you don’t see don’t see a tour guide but we’re kind of just following the crowd so yeah are just going around oh are we meeting over there right here oh that’s the look like the right place I think we’re waiting over there quickly introduce myself my name is Lawrence um I’m from London but I’ve been living here for about five or six years I recently finished my masters here um hbg university also has a darker side okay and that is its history with Judaism yeah so actually when it was first founded they funded the founding by taking Land from the Jewish Community selling it off and using the money to do that okay and then there’s an inscription underneath explaining that this is where in 1933 the Nazis burn a load of books okay which books they did they uh burn ones written by Jews yeah ones written by professors whose ideas they did not like so Heidelberg had not really been affected by anti-Semitism before 1933 when the Nazis came into power they ruled that anyone with Jewish roots cannot teach or study here okay a whole third of the teaching Community had to leave the university all right now a prison sentence in the student prison typically lasted four to 5 days okay the first 3 days you were not allowed to drink you have to sober but from then on they were obliged to give every student a liter of beer and a liter of wine every day okay um we have St ignasius and St hav what’s your name Hudson and where are you from and what are you studying uh I’m from St John’s New Finland but I’m studying in Toronto studying genome biology and genetics oh and where is your internship site in Germany and what’s your and far between there’s only like uh 10% of us are only 34 out of 37 ah Blitz what that music is stressing it what are you talking about it’s so relaxing how long is this song it’s only like 8 minutes are we ready 3 2 1 [Laughter] [Applause] no no no [Laughter] no it’s color Sunday morning it’s the last day of the heidleberg conference and I’m just going downstairs to get breakfast my goal is to what wait they have their vet school wait you animals too you hater I love animals animals there was three options right okay there was or for tours in heidleberg there was the uh heidleberg Zoo the walking tour and then a boat tour and she was one of the four people who chose the zoo the best option like it was raining why would I want to walk around the city when I can go inside and look at elephants mind you we’re like 300 plus people people only four went to the zoo and it was awesome yeah only like a certain number of people can truly understand the beauty of the zoo we’re just a devout small group we know who we are we’re not trying to be different we’re not trying to yeah you don’t you don’t you don’t go along with whatever the masses want no I I am an adversary to Mom
