Sieben Tage, sieben Etappen voller Herausforderungen: Moderator Marco Schreyl radelt mit einer Truppe Freizeitsportler vom Kahlen Asten an die Nordsee. Satte 500 Kilometer Strecke haben sie vor sich – zwischen 50 und 110 Kilometer täglich auf dem Rad. Allesamt keine Profis – zwischen 35 und 62 Jahre alt – fahren sie auch bei Gegenwind, Regen und Hagel. Die Tour geht durchs bergige Sauerland, auf ungeplanten Umwegen durchs Ruhrgebiet, mit chinesischer Begleitung durchs Münsterland, durchs Emsland und vorbei an Deichschafen durch Ostfriesland. Am Ziel in Pilsum wartet der berühmteste Leuchtturm Deutschlands.
Seven days, seven stages full of challenges: Moderator Marco Schreyl and a group of recreational athletes cycle from Kahler Asten to the North Sea. They have a whopping 500 kilometers to go – between 50 and 110 kilometers a day on the bike. All of them no professionals – between 35 and 62 years old – they also ride in headwind, rain and hail. The tour goes through the mountainous Sauerland, on unplanned detours through the Ruhr area, with Chinese accompaniment through the Münsterland, through the Emsland and past dike sheep through East Frisia. Germany’s most famous lighthouse is waiting for you at your destination in Pilsum.
