Discovering the Magic of Old Town Zadar and the Sea Organ | Croatia
we’re now walking down to Oldtown zadar it’s about a 20 minute walk from our hotel we have made it down to the marina area Harbor and on the other side of the bridge here you’ll see the parts of the old wall from Old Town zadar and there’s lyette exploring it wasn’t a long walk at all from our hotel so that’s going to be like 20 minute walk but we’re here in like 10 12 minutes the ship’s ready to head out on some morning excursions we’re entering Old Town zadar I hate to tell you but we’re going to miss the performance by baby lasagna here in zadar on August 17th damn it here you have the St Don’s Church to the left and the clock tower the church is from the 9th century so here to have all kinds of remnants from the 9th century and on it’s a thousand years or less some skilled worker with a hammer and a chisel was carving all this stuff they can’t really tell from what time some of these are but uh I’ll bet you was like 9:30 cuz uh if you work later in the day uh it gets really hot here we’re now trying to locate the sea organ that they have here that creates music uh with the waves we’re here at the uh sea organ created by by 38 pipes underneath here that creates uh music almost like Whale Song by the waves we just had a big boat passed by here so this is a great time to capture the real song I me it almost sounds like whale [Music] song Here we have more cool spots in the whole town of zadar it’s actually really quiet not a lot of people out it’s about 10: a.m. here are remnants of the city wall and there is The City Gate they say looks quite much newer than the walls we’re here Outside The City Gate Oldtown lanette’s checking out the marina and this is a cool little setting right here [Music] well Lynette’s looking up on live so we’re now having dinner here in zadar we’re trying a local place and we got a bottle of wine for € 15 almost 15 16 bucks and we did get mayo and ketchup a dollar each uh the beautiful woman next to us asked for ice and they said there is no ice available and we all have been told so so now we know but I bet we’re going to have great food cheers
