Meltemi Wind Challenge – Charter Sailing in the Greek Cyclades

In this video, we present our story how we visited some of the Greek Cyclades with a chartered sailboat at the end of June 2024.

On our 7 day journey, we encountered an expected yet still unannounced change of the wind. The Meltemi wind spiced up our return as it blew against us for practically the entire week.
All of this happened because we didn’t pay a visit to Poseidon’s Temple when we set out 😉

The entire return trip from Milos back to Athens was done in the Meltemi wind, which blew against us the whole time.
