In October I was in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, about an hour South of Cancun. I felt EXTREMELY SAFE on the main roads between Cancun and South to Tulum. Traveling to Zona Arqueológica de Ek Balam to climb a Mayan ruin was uneventful, but close to the ruins I passed bicycle riders who DID NOT feel safe on the road. One bicycle rider had a rifle strapped to his bicycle while another had a machete attached to his bicycle.
I found Tacos de Birria "El Compa" in Playa del Carmen which is so good I was eating with a truck of Mexican National Guard machine gun-toting troops on my first of many visits. One downside of my visit was the unexpectedly HIGH cost of groceries. I was renting a condominium and prefer to cook my own food. I even went to Sam's Club and pizzas were about $15 vs $9 in the US. Basics like chicken breast were also exceedingly high. I went to multiple local groceries as well as Wal-Mart. Any suggestions on where to find cheap groceries? These prices seem impossibly expensive for Mexicans who make MXN $31.12/HR or USD $1.53/HR.
Like video.
Saludos 🇲🇽
Great info, thanks for the tips!
I love your dogs smile
The cartels are millionaires, why would they want the Americans who are broke? If everyone knows in mexico that they don't even have money for rent in USA so ✌️😎🇲🇽
It would be nice if Sarah slowed down her talking a little bit
Some very good info! You didn't mention Mazatlan, but I may know why. Either way, there are so many places to see and enjoy! I am looking forward to my trip in a few weeks! We have a home in Mazatlan and are taking the kids with us this time! Should be a blast! 😀😎
Although Arizona does not observe daylight saving time, the Navajo Nation portion of the state does.
Thank yall for this video as someone who has been wanting to visit Mexico again but was unsure! Some really great ideas.
Great video thank you for your time to create and share. My partner and I are heading to Rotan, Belize and Cozumel next week for our first cruise and we’re can’t wait. The tip about reef safe sun block was great! Bet we are also headed to CDMX the last week of Jan for a traditional week of exploring and taco eating!
Love the new set guys! So many great tips, too!
Really like the set. Thanks for all the great info and tips.
Enjoying your videos so much! I’m learning a lot. We have two dogs and will be driving. Once there, can you take your dogs on the train or the ferry that goes from Baja to the mainland. What do you do with Kramer if you can’t take him? Thanks so much.
Thanks for all the helpful tips! Which service provider do you use on your phone when stateside? Still google fi? And would really appreciate it if you could show the whole ATM experience that everyone talks about how you’re supposed to decline the initial conversion rate. It would be helpful to see the screen, im assuming it’s all in spanish (?), and what exactly happens after that, eg do you have to accept the second step/screen? Thanks!!
these folks they Just come to our country to talk bad about food prices when they eat and pay too much money for all that macdonals trash
