Symphony sounds good
Symphony is two times cheaper than Icon or Star plus gratuities
I”d have thought that the mythical Discovery-class would be better suited to many European itineraries. As would 10 to 14 day trips.
It would be great to see another ship with a homeport in the Northeastern U.S. I know we already have a few ships, but how about a newer/bigger ship out of Cape Liberty/Boston? 50 million people are in driving distance, and there isn't enough capacity.

This is similar to what they did with Wonder of the Seas which launched doing cruises from Barcelona before moving to Florida in the fall.

Only issue with the reusing name it what princess does they retire the ship then months/weeks after they make a new ship with the same name. Google it you get the old one and other issues like that
I am on Quantum on the Seas right now off the coast of Australia and I will be visiting next cruise centre to book this. I love Europe and this will be awesome.

We booked a cruise in the spring on the Icon! Our family went on a cruise last year on freedom and absolutely LOVED it! We saw posters for the Icon on the freedom and thought it would be really fun to go! Now here we are waiting for our cruise! We even made a family countdown that we taped to our fridge so we could count down the days!

Icon class is the way to go… "Legend?" Why not "Hallmark of the Seas", "Sovereign of the Seas", "Patriot of the Seas" , "Fellowship of the Seas", "Gracious of the Seas", "Fortitude of the Seas", "Dignity of the Seas" and "Virtue of the Seas" Hopefully future ship names?
Well even after 14 hours, this video didn’t age well. Prices, itineraries, deck plans, etc, are all on the Royal Caribbean website. And the price is more than double what Odyssey has for a transatlantic (with a much better itinerary).
That first sail in Europe will sell out faster than Taylor Swift concert tickets. After that, it joins the other 2 Icon class ships in the same area.
We were on Legend of the Seas final voyage ex-Brisbane before she sailed to Europe to become the Discovery 2. Glad that Legend of the Seas is being reborn!
Expensive, yes. But, ALOT cheaper than Disney cruises!

I think this is an awesome idea to put an Icon class ship in Europe. But….. I am a bit disappointed as I was waiting to book the inaugural sailing. I’ve done a Mediterranean cruise with MSC and didn’t enjoy it at all. Maybe I’ll wait until Legend gets to Fl and sail then
2:22 – Wonder of the Seas sailed from Rome and Barcelona in 2022. It was full; not surprised that they're doing this. The 7 night cruises are a mainstay especially in Europe. 7:39 – I'd love to see "Splendour of the Seas" namesake return….my first cruise.
I find Royal caribbean is a arm and a leg in my opinion
So we as Europeans are getting the legend for one whole summer or will it bounce back and fourth every year?
So what would make it a legend if it's the same as others? Nothing. Name fail.

In some ways I'd prefer a suffix like 'Legend of the Seas II' to help differentiate this ship from the former Vision-class ship, but I also understand keeping it simple.
Have booked a family holiday on the Legend for September 2026. Definitely excited to be spending 7 nights on board with my family.
