A Walk Along Paphos Sea Front And Harbour
Hi, this is Dominic from Pathos Life and today’s film we’re walking down the seafront and the harbor starting with a iconic shot of Titu. Now we’re turning left here towards Ba restaurant and going down the pedestrianized route which is Pathos seafront. Oh dear. So I’m feeling the heat already. Must say already this is the fourth film today. So fourth and final was half 11 now according to that on Tuesday. What day you’ll see it on I don’t know. Temperature wise is 27° centigrade. Feels warmer. And you’ll notice that all the common signs are down that they head up. And they haven’t stuck any signs up for Zora the Greek which is coming not this Friday but next Friday. Yeah, depending on when you’re watching it. I think it’s 25th and 26th anyway. But uh there is a big advert for it at the other end of the seafront and they were sensible really not to bother putting signs up because it’s all pretty much sold out already anyway. There’s no point wasting advertising that’s not needed. Yeah. If you’re going to predict what would be popular in uh Pathos, I think Zor would Greek would be high up on that prediction. basically. No, I’m not going to do the dance. There’s fish boy over there. Got some admirers. Yep. It gets a fair number of sunbabs on it as well, but I won’t be showing you that privacy reasons, sea breeze and salty smell in the air. If you like our films, please do subscribe to our YouTube channel and share them far and wide. Click on the notification bell so that not only are you subscribed, but you also get notified when you post anything. And to be quite honest, given that we post at the same time each day anyway, which is 6:00 in the evening and midday normally. Fridays is normally just a 360 at 6:00 p.m. Saturdays is normally just a drone film at 12 and Sunday is just a walkie-talkie or driving film at 6:00. But uh Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday it’s 12 and 6. 12 and 6. 12 and 6. 12 and 6. There you go. You no longer have to click that notification bell. There’s the wooden pup. It’s now open. The early birds are getting their first bag of cheesy puffs in. We’re coming up to Puff Seafront’s own little beach. Have a quick look at interesting big rocks down there. Anyway, I was doing marketing, wasn’t I? So, yes. Uh, if you want to help us out financially, go to our buy me a coffee page at buy me a coffee.com/pathos life and chuck us a few coffees. All coffees are very gratefully received. There’s Marbiano. And if you want to get something back in return, like the 2026 PAOS calendar from Pathos Life, then keep an eye on our Zazzle store and zazzle.co.uk/ UK/store/paffos life/collections. They can find any number of memorabilia items with pictures of our pathos that we’ve taken and normally stuck on Facebook first cuz our pathos live Facebook page now is nearly 90,000 followers. So follow that and also like it if you can. And uh join our pathos chat and cypus chat Facebook groups. You can come and say hello. Oh, one final bit of marketing. If uh you use Amazon, there will be a link in the description of this course and if you click that link to take you to Amazon and then you buy whatever it was you’re going to buy, we will get a affiliate commission. Not much, but every little will help. And let’s face it, it’s something you would have been doing anyway, buying whatever it was. So, do bear that in mind. I’m not putting the link up here though because it’s not a readable friendly link. It’s one with just the usual sort of obscure characters in it, but it’ll take you to Amazon and it’s a popular affiliate link. Anyway, there’s Captain’s Bistro. From what I’ve heard, the views up there were very nice, as you’d expect. Then it’s the more wings. I love this part of uh pathos. They always get really nice and clean. They have road sweepers go up here like two, three times a day. And it’s a credit to the area. And the trees have grown their leaves again. Few years ago there had been talk about there being some sort of shade put on along here. But whether that’s ideas died to death or it’s just still in the bag, so to speak, I don’t know. But that’s why I wear a big hat. And now we’re coming up to the stall holders. They weren’t around when it was uh Carmon, but they’re back in force now. Little shell chap and it’s sponges. Solomon pizza and the harbor restaurant on our right. I’m focusing on the sponges. Are very good apparently. Nice man is back again. I think it was nice lady actually. They seem to take it in turns. Hair braiding. Right. Here’s the big advert for Zor with the Greek. So, I’ll go and show you that. 26th and 27th. There you are. I said 25th and 6th earlier, so it’s half white. National Slovenian Ballet, starts at 8:00 p.m. If you’re going, I’d say get a bit earlier than that, about half an hour or so, cuz if it’s anything like Carmon, traffic will be a nightmare. And they did put on extra parking behind the rest, uh, where the archaeological park is, but you actually have to physically get there. So, uh, allow plenty of time for that. I mean, if you get there early, you spend half an hour wandering around the seafront in the harbor. So, it’s not as if you’re not going to have anything to do. But, if you’re paying all those money, that money for tickets, you uh don’t want to miss the start. Coming to more of the flower pots now. A lot of the tour boats have left for the morning. Some of them do day tours, other doay tours. I’ll stick a link up uh in the description. also survive tour which is the best site to look for information on tours even if they’re finding tours that are going still in January or February cuz I think there is one that goes from Lapsi weather permitting obviously but uh at least on the Vio site you can search by days and things like that it’s a good place to look you got the archaeological park over 450. Best 450 you’ll spend in cycles. That guarantee of it. Good news is I can’t hear any buskers. So I don’t have to worry about music copyright. There’s been a lot of discussion about that on uh YouTube recently, especially among content creators who do appreciation of uh music and music theory and that sort of thing. You know, you sort of think, well, they’ll play you bits of a song and then discuss the chord sequence, etc. about uh copyright and the music uh copyright owners being over the top etc. and they have to agree with them. And because as it stands, I could be walking along here, a car could go past playing a radio music hit, and if there was, say, more than five or six seconds of it, they could get all the uh money from the entire film. And it’s not as if I’m uh trying to play that music. It gets in the way like that guy’s ringtone or whatever it is that I can hear. And someone was saying, “Oh, but they should get the money.” And he was someone who produced gospel music or something. It’s like, “Why? I would rather we couldn’t hear it.” Anyway, I could go on and on. I’m not going to. We got to the restaurant. Which names of people can I remember? One. Oh, Coco is here. We got to film that. Sometimes they call him Cockos. I think this is cocoa. Cool. Cool. Right. He’s on full pose at the moment, so we should be able to get a nice film of him. Oh, he’s looking straight into the camera. That’s better. [Music] Oh my god, it keeps moving. There’s Henry. I see his pork pie hat. Wonder if he likes madness, but he’d be too busy. Good luck. Let’s deal with these people first. Thank you. Goodbye. Six people walked past me today. They say you’ve made me famous. Thank you very much. You’re welcome. Where’s my commission? One more. Thank you. One more thing to do. Let them subscribe to my YouTube channel. Yes. Yes. Tell them. Tell spread the world. I want to find what the answer is. You say I’m famous. Please. I know he’s a big boss, Dominic. So try and check out my YouTube channel. Henry B Motivation. Click subscribe. Thank you. What a tart. Terrible. How you doing, Henry? Oh, good. I was off yesterday. Oh, well done. Yeah, Monday you get off, aren’t you? So, there you go. Henry V motivation and he’s actually published a film this month. Allincclusive swimming and snorkeling, but mainly a nice reflection. Do like reflections. Here’s Ocean Basket. Now, I haven’t been up here for a couple of weeks, so I have no idea what’s happening at the Artisan craft shop. Sometimes it’s a craft market and Eevee will be there. Sometimes it’s a art exhibition and sometimes it’s locked. But you can see the theater as all will be performed with all those people pranting on it. I hope it’s got a good support. Well, there was a little gazebo here, but that was obviously just for Carmen. Nico is not open. only open at night. Yes. There’s no action at the Artisan market unfortunately. Pass these people. More signs absorb. We’ll finish with Aphroditi with a castle in the background. I still see one car banner away over there. Everything else has been removed. Anyway, that was the seafront in the harbor. I’m now thoroughly warm. Thank you very much for watching and see you in the next film. Cheers. [Music]
In the final part of out latest walk around Kato Paphos and the Coast, we start at the top end of the Sea Front by Tea For Two. From there we head past Fishboy and the Wooden Pub to the market stalls, before walking through the Harbour. Along the way we get to film Koko the Pelican and have a quick chat with Henry.
