Great video. Took me on a trip down memory lane when I first went up as a passenger in a light aircraft with my sister and her flying instructor. The former WW2 aerodrome was also beside water (lakes) – but the weather was not so spectacular. At that time the Control Tower was structurally unchanged from when it was built during the war – obviously the tech. had been upgraded. One of the other Instructors was Czech having chosen not to return to his native land after WW2. Interesting times. 👍
