[Music] aahah [Music] [Music] I’m not walking so now we’re heading off to Lark oh look at the Sun On That Mountain oh was so beautiful it’s showing 3 hours 40 so that’s uh longer than I expected maybe some issues on the road I don’t know [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] last night on the internet on Facebook I saw a picture of a big rock in the road little did I know it’s actually our road we’ve sat here now in traffic for half an hour another probably half an hour to go at least we’ll show you the rock when we get to it but the good thing is because we’ve been stopped with the engine off we have got ITC any money now I was over to make some lunch got the toilet I could have the window open couldn’t I really and start selling like sandwiches couldn’t I and bread rolls and bit of cake make a killing babe set me own mobile shop they could even use the toilet to pay the right money to only [Music] oh it’s so pretty in there it’s just gorgeous get a bit of a run up where would you like to go oh my that where we’re going that’s where we’re going amaz balls one of my favorites I love Le and we got the most amazing pitch ever we were there last year weren’t we with another van what a view the only problem is we’ve got the sub screen on but yeah what get the chairs out [Applause] obviously we’ve been here 3 years ago so we’re going to make a video but we’ll not show you all the things we showed before we can just watch the old video but anything new we’ll show you and we’re definitely going to show you Luca he’s three years older I haven’t seen him yet oh he’s my friend he’s to come to the van and wait for us he’s just after food and you’re not allowed to feed him there’s a big sign saying do not feed the Luca the LCA [Music] [Applause] [Music] morning morning quarter past the hour quarter to the hour from the bus stop outside the campsite and when you’re come in back it’s on the hour and on the half hour from uh the the ski resort the last bus is about 600 p.m. is yeah the last bus is 6 that’s only downside for this is uh you have to Cil your your upay yeah ready for the first basket lift up to the uh Resort we were told this have changed this and they said they were going to change it but now they about do it again year so that was 25 minutes from the bus stop to uh getting onto the slope not too bad here you’ve got the first lift up you got the gondola over to plan toilets as well another very nice treelined lift got a look for trees and the snow together makes for the perfect ski though yeah so it took us half an hour to get here what 25 minutes and then 20 minutes just to get on the first lift so uh not a great time to arrive half 10 [Music] down into the bow [Music] [Applause] [Music] beautiful conditions today if not a bit busy in places but uh now we need some food we’re hungry so we got take a little and just get done and I’m absolutely loving it here don’t mean here I do mean here as well but the piece are absolutely fantastic somebody is quite a like little bit of a nervous gear it is amazing the conditions of the snow is just fantastic I am so happy right now big small big girl cat on even’ done Reds the shallow deluigi really good it’s not a light lunch that’s for sure it’s like quite a big lunch but it is Absolut delicious really good quality ingredients so lovely [Music] so you can’t come to lar without getting a photo in front of the lar sign start [Music] a [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] to be fair I’m struggling a bit after so many uh be and E Meers last bit of sunlight to be skiing home got to make the last bus I need I think we left it a bit too late to get the bus we made it okay for the last bus fingers crossed but it’s getting dark and it’s late get a taxi I’m not walking that’s for sure cuz it’ll be tomorrow by the time I get to the motor morning so we’re on our way out and we’re actually doing some Nordic skiing oh my God and can I just show you Andy said would you like to borrow this one of our friends is watch us over this padding cuz apparently you do fall over so Andy’s got it no you just need to turn around babe and no side profile side profile he’s actually got a booty most women would die for would die for I’ve just got my own insulation and my own padding I think that’ll be plenty with the bom I’ve got seriously that was for me oh my God it’s another beautiful day so where we’re doing the Nordic skiing is literally around this ring here and that’s where you practice and then you go off can’t wa spotted by the van oh there’s little Luca hello luuka you’re waiting for your friend aren you oh hello little chappie you is a beautiful boy oh yes you are beautiful boy there’s a group today we’ve got Dez who’s also got the P shorts on Heather today is the ring leader here’s the reason we’re here you organized all my fault yes D said he was drunk when he agreed to do it I think we were all drunk when we agree to do it right let’s get over there L’s coming with us Luka thinks we’re going for oh having a quick way going for a walk this is this is Hilda’s party oh so this is the actual track is it no that’s track yeah this is the ret track the foru oh so if you see these purple poles yeah they for the walking the people oh so that’s going to be us hopefully well not the one falling over so here we are the Nordic Center what was that 10 minutes that was a fast 10 minutes I’m here I walk fast we walk fast and Luca came all the way with us look at the width of these it looks scary so we’ve got all the gear now no idea literally we are it’s been a bit chaotic this morning but uh it’s because there’s a Nordic event going on but we’ve got our shoes which are really comfy we’ve got Leo our instructor who’s going to teach us how to be experts so we’re just walking down to the flat piece start it easy can’t believe how light these skis are how comfortable the shoes are this might be the way forward oh have in that one or too you’re an expert a or something we about the first casualty J is taking a tumble the padding worked here we go for yes go H yes brilliant amazing oh God there’s another one over there [Music] [Music] oh oh oh oh she kept it [Music] done nice so now it’s time to go downhill in the rails how did that feel they all right yeah it’s not too bad to push your hip across and then you got wa once you get your weight on one ski it’s all good yeah we’ve been let loose on our own on a blue run no look at that Hill never done anything like this before good luck you first I going to go straight into that snow get your snow plow in in the order get your weight on on the left snow plow oh they did it this is alive no effort oh I going to go faster than you oh baby put your brakes on then I try it that was all right how much better at this than SK to be s oh so they all [Music] no cauliflower soup so nice yes oh this is a good way to end our fabulous morning Nordic skiing surpr together don’t we it’s going to happen oh that was a lovely lunch wasn’t it fabulous that was perfect after having the morning doing that yeah oh it’s just been can’t take smell off your face I can’t honestly I’m going to be an Olympic Nordic Skier now I love it it’s so good uh so we’re going to just take a walk now up to the uh up the valley as far as we can go so what happened mine went around there and there’s yours straight down to there yeah I didn’t quite know how to turn at this point nearly ended up in the river got it if I come down there i’ have come over here literally I would have been in the [Applause] river just look at it [Music] glistening we’ve now made it further than we’ managed to last time we’re up here because a big storm came in I’ve been watching the clouds down the bottom of the valley and An Almighty snowstorm is actually approaching us oh God oh my God so it’s all new new territory are we’re going to make it to the end today I think [Music] so amazing isn’t it magical so good the silence as well looks like a waterfall there and then just over there obviously there’s been an avalanche so that sign signifies the end of the uh hike up here for today I think this is one for the summer I would like to do it but we haven’t got snow shoes anyway I have noticed there’s a you can’t see from here but there is actually it looks like a path that goes all the way across there so in the summertime I’d love to do that cuz it is just beautiful setting isn’t it incredible we just heard a noise there cracking and then all of a sudden it came down that uh shows why it’s probably not a good idea no it’s definitely not a good idea not probably babe the whole mountain is creaking and cracking every 5 minutes something’s happening here just catching up on camera that’s the tough of it isn’t it yeah actually when you see it and all the p start [Music] down oh yes feel that Sunshine coming through it’s been a bit chilly up the top there I’ve got a numb thumb [Music] that’s it we’re back 4.5 miles that was so it’s a decent walk good time to fill up with water [Applause] kitchen get ready they’re going to be out any minute now get ready here we go Reckless totally Reckless we’re going out for dinner tonight it’s not far straight in the campsite restaurant it’s really good Fe even before we have high expectations on we know it be amazing so this is the B area and this is us we arrived too early for dinner it’s actually more like 7:00 onwards so we’re using the time to uh continue trying to find our escape room a bottle of wine the combination for the lock to get the wine dinner time and you know what had to cause an argument in one foul swoop just give them three pieces of bride so you’ve got the uh the beefer Sona yes and I’ve got the the grattin [Music] there our boots [Music] show what facilities and de So the plan today is to go to the plan I think a few people have got the same idea though unfortunately so we’re just waiting for the uh BOS Express hopefully we’ll be on it shortly maybe a while it’s amazing how many people they get on these things but uh we’re on [Music] I this is a hidden lift isn’t it look at this tued away between all the shops and restaurants so apparently that restaurant there is really really nice [Music] [Applause] I woo woohoo what you didn’t tell me there was sa Jesus oh that was a lovely run the place is busy but here it’s quite quiet am amazing how about this for picnic stop he [Music] n [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Music] oh so this is motor home air at lean you see two motor homes there in the waiting area and as you can see it is full [Music] the only way back over so it does get busy here but uh not too bad today and Bard how fabulous Cheers Cheers Cheers a bit of stinging the tail at the end very icy very mowgly coming down mon Blanc to get the uh the gond back across Andy actually said that it was what he’ rather do black than do what we did going back down so I EAS we’re going to walk today another walk we’ve done before but it’s uh quite an interesting one we did get a bit stuck last time but this time we should be okay because we’re a bit better prepared why you shoving me forward I thought it was look at my ass yeah yeah so obviously here you can stay in the Chalet as well as in a motor home I think they’re quite reasonably priced as well so it’s a good option to uh to get out into the nature and enjoy a ski holiday as opposed to a [Applause] hotel so a bit like Holland you have The Pedestrian track and the uh the cross country track and Ne do the two meet if you walk on the cross country track you’ll be in trouble so got to stick to the purple markers and avoid the green blue red black Cross Country Trails you can tell cross country as well by the the double trem lines there so yesterday on AC cross country we were we learned around here and then went all the way up here somewhere and then then back down but today we’re going to follow this purple hiking route to there yes we’re out of breath it is hard work Rook sacks are heavy and we are at 1600 M oh my stomach sounds like a bear I heard that oh my God I’m hungry at food [Music]
